Loved the video, but felt a bit rushed as well. I'd be happy to watch extended (20-30min) videos if it helps demonstrate your points better. In any case, welding is a tricky topic but I thought you handled it well here. Thanks for sharing!

This was more of an introduction to see if releasing detailed long-form videos on welding would be of interest to anyone.

I agree this is a good video, although I'd appreciate it be broken down into three parts to give room for a more extensive first part describing how arcs are created.

Very well done video, however a little too much emphasis on underwater welding.

had a good laugh at 8:44 where in the hyperbaric chamber, the weldor is wearing short sleeves and using a cutting torch to supposedly weld......

You need a “pop filter” for you microphone to block out the “p” (plosive) sounds.

It should be noted that the filler metal in most welding rods and flux core wire are identical. The different weld characteristics and arc behavior comes almost entirely from the different recipes of flux used.

Because hydrogen is actually a bit like metals, thats why it is above alkaline metals. It does not corrode, does not oxidate or react with metal, it even probably protects them from oxygen/oxidation. Thats my guess.

The history was fairly accurate. The info about current methods also fairly accurate. Good enough. But some of the videos used were terrible examples. Showing TIG welding without gloves is irresponsible. You can get cancer from welding if you’re not properly clothed.
