Vasectomising hob ferret with only one testicle. Undescended ball at the vets. Taking out of season

Well Fred the ferret had only one testicle visible. I wanted to get him vasectomised as the jill jab has been discontinued, but I didnt think it was a very good long term solution anyway. I took him to the vets, and he said it was 50/50 whether the missing testicle would drop during the anaesthetic after the muscles relax, or he would have to have a dig around for it. Luckily, the missing testicle did drop, the vet cut both the tubes and he made a full recovery. The other testicle popped back inside once the anaesthetic wore off.
