So happy you are back on the Queenant! I've been seriously considering one lately, but I've been waiting to see the end of your series :)
If you do get one, ask for an ethernet connected controller instead of a USB (more stable for signals). You will also want to get dust caps for the linear rails. I am still in the process of building a queenant pro v2 1010 with a 2.2 kw water cooled spindle. I seperated my fvd form my controllers and use metal nema cabinets for each. Make sure you have an adequate dedicated 220v line if you get a 220 kit. Have fun with the hobby!
I hope this series helps you with your build!
@@cd7140 Thanks for the advice. Is there a particular controller you would recommend out of the youyong options? I was considering forgoing their controllers and maybe use a masso instead. I'm in Australia so we are all 240V. I'd still look at getting a dedicated circuit run for the system, otherwise I can just imagine my wife would turn on the kettle and toaster at the same time and it would all be over in a flash lol.
Crimp screw connectors to the power supplies would be a better example to show people
Very good Roger although I don't need it at present. . . . .Nice shirt 😂 you must be mid summer over there cos we're almost mid winter in the UK😊 😊 . . . .Jim
9:30 mine is not earthed 😅.
How can I earth it?
Mr. Webb, can you give us a link to the vfd manual please
