Hi Cynthia , May I know how thick is the laminate you produce?

Hi, it's depends on the fibre/reinforcement content.

@@cynthiachan8927 if I put a thicker base, will I get a thicker laminate composite? I need to try out how much matrix I should put in order to produce a certain thickness. Am I right? Thanks for replying

@@ailingfong145 Yes, if you put a thicker base/reinforcement, you will get a thicker laminate composite. We can say that the matrix is used as a binder, thus the thickness of the composite will mostly depend on how much the reinforcement you put.

@@cynthiachan8927hi Cynthia, the last step you leave the vacuum on and left it to cure? How about the resin side, do we still need to put resin when we have tighten it?

@@ailingfong145 after clamping and tighten the both tubes (as shown in the video), the resin will not go in/out from the laminated composite, you can switch off the vacuum and leave it for curing process. Make sure it is in vacuum condition.
