+floyd brown While I personally agree that UCLA is awesome (since it is my alma mater), I wouldn't give much weight to "prestige" in determining which school you attend. This is especially true when you comparing two schools that are already basically top tier in quality. It's often more important to compare the strength of each school's specific major/program that you are thinking of attending. For example, when comparing Harvard and USC in engineering programs, I would always choose USC over Harvard, despite Harvard's unmatched "prestige" and name recognition. USC's engineering school is by far the superior program, and produces better educated, better trained, and more capable engineers than Harvard. This will also make a huge difference when beginning one's career, since major companies and businesses know which programs produce capable, competent graduates. Picking a school based on name recognition and curb appeal alone may impress your neighbors and relatives, but it is rarely the best option in developing a career.
I got in!!! I got into Berkeley too, but I declined them. It was tempting, but UCLA seems to be a better fit with how their program is structured. I easily could have gone back and forth between the two for a month. See you all in soon!!! Go Bruins!!!

Jesse (sorry if you spell it a different way), It appears I’m 2 years and some change late to the party, but man what an amazing idea. You were giving students a chance to see what going to that particular school would be like without them having to physically go there, and in a way that they could relate to from a variety of students perspectives. This gives any student, in the country or abroad like myself, who may not be able to afford a trip to visit the college in person, or for any other reason they can’t visit, the opportunity to get their turn at a tour. I’m so bummed you didn’t keep the series going, and I can personally say I wish I had this series, and more of it, when I was in high school to inspire me to work hard enough to go to one of these amazing schools. Personal favourites gotta be UCLA. Definitely my dream school, if only I made that time machine... I guess that’s the other side of the spectrum in terms of potential demographic, a retrospective view on what it would’ve been like, or what it is like, to go to one of these colleges/universities. Maybe you stopped because you fell out of love with making them, maybe for personal reasons, but you had a great idea and were making amazing content. College Life Presents UT is great for football and the Austin-scene, but in reality has nothing on a Texas A&M gameday experience. I'm from Austin and have been to several games at both schools, A&M is by far more passionate and tradition rich (12th Man) and will have the biggest stadium in Texas and the SEC (102k+) this next season! Come down to College Station in the Fall, you won't regret it! Gig'em!

I went to UCLA when Maloney's was actually called Maloney's. But I'm sure if people say "O'Hara's" people will know what you're talking about. It says O'Hara's on the front of the building. It's just "cool" to call it Maloney's.
