Reasons why its not copying potc: It doesn't have a damsel in distress like Elizabeth, it doesn't have a civilian who slowly turns pirate like Will, and it has a rather different storyline. The only similarities I see are how the existing characters are similar to the potc ones. For example the 2 cursed pirates are like Raggeti and Pintel, and the Commodore is like Becket and Captain Jones is like Lieutenant Groves. Other than that I have no idea where you're coming from. :/
Awesome trilogy =3 Though how could Bootblack even shoot Burtenby when he was holding the gun in his claw? Other then that it's AWESOME!
