I was looking into India ETFs. Your video came right on time. Thanks a lot for valuable information!!
Glad we could help Lini! Thanks for watching #ETFBattles and don't forget to subscribe. Ron
another fun battle...EPI for the win
Definitely 💯 Ron
Cinthia’s feed has a high pitched whistle that destroys the ears. Can you edit that out?
Ken: I closely listened and heard the same glitch. Thanks for the catch. FYI Cinthia makes one more appearance on an upcoming battle and I can't guarantee the sound won't be there. But I guarantee that we will go on a seek and destroy mission to eliminate it. I don't like distractions! Thanks for the 411 and for watching the show! Ron
Exactly what I wanted, no way this just came out
Naan bread is excellent but try Poori bread!!! 😋 I literally "collect" India ETFs. Also like PIN, INQQ, and NFTY. For the investor who wants more diversification, try BICK, which is Brazil, India, China and South Korea. Excellent show, and I consider India a keeper in a long-term, diversified portfolio.
JM: I haven't tried Poori bread, but you peaked my interest. It's now on my menu of "things to try." I'm with you 100% on India. From an investment perspective, it's got demographics, industry, infrastructure and a relatively bearable political climate compared to its neighbors. Good to see you again! Ron
I don't believe brics will have same amount of growth india alone will. china and russia economy will hold down brics so will brazil. Only south africa has potential coz of minerals also its not south korea, south korea is nothing :)
Hey DeLegge!, LOL good one man!👍 Good opening Italian Lasagna and Guacamole!!🥑🥑 But where's the chip's man! ??, where's the chips!!😵💫😵💫
Congratulations 4th year Ron
Yes it again a super battle and very good information with Indian Spices!!
GTO...you cannot eat guacamole without chips. Maybe you can. But it's just not the same. I've tried it with celery and carrots. It's healthier, but I miss the crackle of the chips. Best, Ron
@@ebrahimhabib477 Thank you EH! We couldn't have done it with you and the rest of our viewers. You deserve an applause for making ETF Battles a success. Best, Ron
gt video enlighting investirs. howeve, i have a ain question , how do you cakcuate declining rupees vd dollar....
Rupee weakness vs the USD would suppress returns of India ETFs because they’re denominated in Rupee whereas Rupee strength would be beneficial. Currency hedged equity ETFs are one solution for minimizing FX volatility, although I’m not aware of any specific India currency hedged ETFs. I believe WisdomTree had one but it folded. Here’s more research to help you learn about currency hedged ETFs. Ron www.morningstar.com/articles/1120231/do-currency-hedged-etfs-have-merit-for-the-long-term
Great video! I love this content almost as much as naan bread.
Thank you Grasshopper! Ron
What about FLIN vs INDA?
Doesn’t FLIN offers the same exposure and benefit as INDA but at 1/3 the cost with expense ration of 0.19 ?
Cost is just one category. What else does FLIN offer in the other ETF Battles categories vs. the competing India ETFs, judge Ram?
@@etfguide What else? It's up 40% verses INDA's 27% over past 3 years. It tracks FTSE India RIC Capped Index.
very good video 👍🏼
Thank you Anthony! Ron
Would choose INDA today because of higher volume and better liquidity
As an option trader, INDA wins hands down, due to more liquidity, more options volume with tighter b/a spreads. As a long term investor, harder to call. INDA offers better expense ratio, but EPI peformed better over a 10, 5, 1yr & YTD basis. Hence, for a retirement account, I'd probably invest in both.
Really helpful
Glad to hear that Ron
Where can I buy the same in Canada??
It's best to check with your brokerage platform for an accurate answer. All of the ETFs discussed are U.S. listed ticker symbols. Best, Ron
Thanks a lot.
Most welcome!
Good video, too many distracting background noises
Naaan-bread … chai-tea… it’s like bread-bread and tea-tea lol
ok got it LV. maybe you’re too obsessed with the duplicity. I hope you’re this obsessed with your investments! Ron
@@etfguide I’m actually very obsessed and that’s why I follow your channel :)
Hey thanks. Useful information. Can I split 50-50 investment with INDA and EPI? Overlap weight comes up at 51%. What would you suggest. Comment?
By law, we cannot provide any investment advice. See our Portfolio Makeover show for more specifics on asset allocation, diversification, weighting, etc.
QARP VS MGC VS VOO ?
Hi Anthony, QARP is in a completely different zip code vs. MGC and VOO. Trying to understand this matchup. What are you thinking here? Best, Ron P.S. It would make more sense to pit QARP against value ETF peers. Just a suggestion, but you give us your ETF tickers and we'll do the rest.
$FLIN is my choice.
We have FLIN in an upcoming ETF Battle. Watch for it! Best, Ron
FLIN
Hey Ron, thanks for this man, loved the video. Waiting on my T shirt 😁
It is pronounced as HARSH-aah Rao (like Raww)
Quick question $NFTY has lower expense ration when compared to $INDY and holds same Nifty50 index, any reason why $NFTY was not in the battle?
I believe NIFTY was not discussed because is not available at US stock exchange.
Congrats HR! Great battle suggestion. Please send us your shirt size and mailing address. www.etfguide.com/contact-us P.S. We only ship to US addresses.
@@lini2815 See our response to HR above.
Quadruple-headers is our maximum workload to properly analyze the ETFs at hand. If we start doing 5+ ETFs per episode, it can get confusing fast.
To your question....NFTY and INDY are similar in approach due to their concentrated portfolio of just 50 stocks. They main difference is NFTY equally weights all 50 stocks which tilts the fund's volatility and return path to a mid/small cap equity bias. That's helped NFTY to outperform (very narrowly) INDY over the past 5 and 10 years. But if you compare the 10-year return of NFTY vs. SMIN, the latter dominated with a gain of +125% vs. just 89% for NFTY. Over shorter periods NFTY has done better. But never mind that, if you believe in India's long-term growth story as I do, my money is on the growthiest areas of the market, which have the biggest upside potential. That means mid, small caps and even sector plays like INQQ. The investor who will end up making the most money are those who buy and then sit. And add more when markets crash. Just my view. Best, Ron
@@etfguide as always great response and insight, thanks a ton, appreciate it. I have been Dripping on these efts for past 1 ear and they have done really well for me.
Can we have a battle for Vietnam etf ? ❤
Please give us your exact ETF tickers of which ETFs vs. each other you want to see. Thank you! Ron
Calling it Naan "bread" is like going Bagel "bread" and Bun "bread" fool!
Thanks for the video though.
Thanks for watching!
