There's at least two letters that can be found in Glisten's Room in the Roleplaying Mode that also imply his insecure nature, both of which involve him overworking himself in some way. I feel like when you finish the last machines he doesn't get angry, he's just scared of being alone. It's like he gets Poppy's panic pop at that moment. And notice how he makes small stops? It's like he pauses to take a breath, struggling to not get overcome by ichor. And when he attacks toons he falls down. It's like stumbling and falling as he runs after toons to try and stop them. In reality he's just desperate, lonely and afraid. One of the saddest twisteds to ever exist :c
In my opinion, Glisten is one of the easiest in big groups of runs, but going solo is one of the HARDEST, probably up there with Twisted Pebble and Twisted Dandy for hardest twisteds in solos, considering if you leave Twisted Glisten alone for too long or the elevator activates, he will get mad and get almost as fast as Twisted Pebble. Just saying, this is all my opinion.

I’ve dealt with Glisten solo but I was lucky with the machines being pretty close together and Glisten being near them. The next time I had to do Glisten solo it was a problem cuz he kept hanging out with Shelly 😭 Also Dandy is easier solo imo. Super fun to do solo as well.

My first time was so messed up. I stayed near him for a while, but I was confused. Then everything changed after the machines were done. I was pretty heartbroken.
Gonna correct the replies, Twisted Glisten has a run speed of 24 (30 during panic mode), while Twisted Pebble has a run speed of 25 (I haven't calculated, but the panic mode speed is 15-20% faster than the normal run speed), so T. Pebble is still the fastest.
It’s actually a coincidence you're Flutter. I have a team of friends called the Floor 50 Team, you can guess what we try to do by our name. And one of our teammates, Flutter, really love Glisten, like every time she sees his text, she says “MY BABY” lol

When I first saw him, I felt absolutely terrible for him. But even when he’s not a twisted, he still cares about his friends more than his ego, cuz his poster says he’ll do anything to stand up for his friends. Even he tied his hands together with his bow so he can’t hurt anyone, and he is desperately clinging onto the last amount of sanity he has before we had to leave him. I feel absolutely terrible when I had to leave him. Sorry for this being so long, I love Glisten and his Twisted mechanic lol, and how everyone went to him first before doing anything just had me chuckling

My first time with Twisted Glisten ended up very badly. It was my first time seeing him and I didn't know what to do but watched from a far. But eventually he snapped and ran, so I quickly tried to do the machines but messed up one of them and he, Teagan, and Astro chased me. And Glisten got me shortly after.

I have a theory! So, in his normal form (the normal Glisten), he wears a bow around his waist/body whatever right? And in his twisted form, he doesn't. It seems, he tied his hands using what's left of it. And you see, in his twisted form, you can see what lies underneath the covers of his bow. So, what if, in his normal form, he wore the bow because he's too insecure to show it? (The uhm, outstretched part or smth)Just a theory.

I noticed this with two twisted Glisten uses his bow to keep his hands tied so he can't hurt anyone. While Razzle & Dazzle have their scarfed tied down keeping them in one spot, unable to harm anyone unless they get to close to them and wake em up. While Glisten is still aware but in pain, I think Raz & Daz used the last bit of their strength to make sure they aren't gonna harm anyone when they fully lose it
He doesn’t want people to leave him so when the elevator opens he gets sad and he starts attacking people, so they could stay with him. I wish we could bring him with us 😭
I solo'd a main hunt once and I encountered twisted glisten and I was like "oh noes" so with THE POWER OF THINKING I went to the machines that glisten was going to and extract half of it then come back to him so that the purple bar doesn't fill up I saved the machines that were nearest to the elevator and finished the ones that were the farthest and also make sure glisten is far away from the elevator which gives you more time to GTE. (I'm bad at explaining so i hope the beginners will understand this) 🙂
He just doesnt want to be alone, hes afraid, hes afraid of not having anyone. When he attacks, his animation seems like hes trying to keep you close. Hes just afraid, hes not twisted at all!
I have a solution to survive Glisten:) 1.Get a team that you know (its even better when you call yourself on some group) 2. His bar over him must stay empty-purple, if it gets full he says that he cant take it anymore and tries to kill us. (He is fast af) 3.One person stays near him 4.One person distracts other twisteds. 5.One/two people complete the machines. 6.When one person is doing the LAST machine, run away from glisten. Dont worry about The bar now. 7.When its completed he snaps, then Quick go to elevator. 8.If there is a Goob, he should bring the person that did the last machine to elevator (not if the machine was very close to elevator) Here you are!❤

One of my favorite toons! I had him back to back in one of my solo runs two days ago and I'd say it was hard ONLY because of the other toons that you have to deal with (I got him along with Goob on floor 3 and Poppy on floor 4). I enjoy the mechanic but I get sad whenever I see him 😢
in case anyone is in need for a hint on how to deal with glisten i can share one: in early floors it’s best to babysit him until 3 out of 4 machines are 100% extracted then try to get as far away from him as possible if you don’t want to lose a heart

@@Meh-d6yEither got attacked by a twisted and assumed to be ‘ infected ‘ and left behind by everyone once he started showing signs ( red eyes, sudden pace change, etc etc ) or decided to stay behind himself as he saw himself as a monster(? ( and as much as it could hurt is ego like a idiot ) ). Twisteds have been around for a long time, it’s safe to assume he got sent out by dandy. Got attacked. Got left behind when he started showing signs to avoid anyone else getting hurt, and when he sees us ( the players ), he gets desperate for comfort, to be near someone again, just be left alone again for god knows how long.
@@Chillcoretime I mean that’s not really bad though….. it’s the only choice. And even if he did get left behind that’s the only lore he has. What about the fact Goob looks traumatised? Or that Astro suffers from guilt and grief? Or that Shelly was ignored? All those have lore but I never see anyone acting sad over it. Everyone always over looks the other twisteds but they act all sad over glisten. The only logical reason is because he doesn’t attack. I’ve seen other points like “oh but we see him be really sad” or “he’s really lonely” as if the other twisteds didn’t experience that. Any point they mention either applies to the other twisteds, or make him less sad.
twisted glisten makes me sad i usually don't really have a reaction to the twisteds [besides "woah cool design"] but there's something about him that makes me feel really bad for him

I knew what to do when Ifirst came across him. I was Boxten. I saw the text, and knew it was him. I felt so sad. I wanted to hug him so bad. All 4 of us just were wanting to be with him. Any time he is there, I want to be the sole person comforting him.

glisten wasnt fully corrupted yet and the bar means you need to stay near him if its empty he will attack he feels lonely so if all of the machines are finished he thinks hurting people will make them stay with him so thats why hes hurting you
If you stay near him he won’t attack you but if you don’t then he will attack you there’s also a bonus whenever you’re leaving he will attack you to stay with him
You have to stay by his side because when that bar fills up he will going to rage mode and he also really fast being by his side will prevent him from going rage mode but he will also go rage mode when the elevator doors open
I was doing a main run with a team and twisted glisten appeared on the first floor and later on the third floor he appeared again. It wasn’t even his chance up day that time.
It's sad because even without being corrupted with ichor, Glisten's ability is to teleport to other toons which shows that he needs to be near someone.. 🥺

when i first saw glisten i was like "i wont like this guy hes egotistical" and then i saw twisted glisten
yeah his normal personality is this snarky,mean (not the mean bully kind) and egotistical guy but when his twisted form comes the personality (kind of) gets flipped upside down

I noticed this with two twisted
Glisten uses his bow to keep his hands tied so he can't hurt anyone. While Razzle & Dazzle have their scarfed tied down keeping them in one spot, unable to harm anyone unless they get to close to them and wake em up.
While Glisten is still aware but in pain, I think Raz & Daz used the last bit of their strength to make sure they aren't gonna harm anyone when they fully lose it

He doesn’t want people to leave him so when the elevator opens he gets sad and he starts attacking people, so they could stay with him. I wish we could bring him with us 😭
I solo'd a main hunt once and I encountered twisted glisten and I was like "oh noes" so with THE POWER OF THINKING I went to the machines that glisten was going to and extract half of it then come back to him so that the purple bar doesn't fill up I saved the machines that were nearest to the elevator and finished the ones that were the farthest and also make sure glisten is far away from the elevator which gives you more time to GTE.
(I'm bad at explaining so i hope the beginners will understand this) 🙂

He just doesnt want to be alone, hes afraid, hes afraid of not having anyone. When he attacks, his animation seems like hes trying to keep you close. Hes just afraid, hes not twisted at all!
I have a solution to survive Glisten:)
1.Get a team that you know (its even better when you call yourself on some group)
2. His bar over him must stay empty-purple, if it gets full he says that he cant take it anymore and tries to kill us. (He is fast af)
3.One person stays near him
4.One person distracts other twisteds.
5.One/two people complete the machines.
6.When one person is doing the LAST machine, run away from glisten. Dont worry about The bar now.
7.When its completed he snaps, then Quick go to elevator.
8.If there is a Goob, he should bring the person that did the last machine to elevator (not if the machine was very close to elevator)

One of my favorite toons! I had him back to back in one of my solo runs two days ago and I'd say it was hard ONLY because of the other toons that you have to deal with (I got him along with Goob on floor 3 and Poppy on floor 4). I enjoy the mechanic but I get sad whenever I see him 😢
in case anyone is in need for a hint on how to deal with glisten i can share one: in early floors it’s best to babysit him until 3 out of 4 machines are 100% extracted then try to get as far away from him as possible if you don’t want to lose a heart

Ppl saying why u get sad for glisten hes like other twisteds, what if other twisteds felt same way bla bla bla i dont feel so sad for him that much but his lore is deep and he is first to be seen as half-twisted besides he ripped his bow to tie his hands so he cant hurt anyone...
His lore isn’t even that deep…. He just has an ego so the ichor hasn’t transformed him yet.

@@Meh-d6yEither got attacked by a twisted and assumed to be ‘ infected ‘ and left behind by everyone once he started showing signs ( red eyes, sudden pace change, etc etc ) or decided to stay behind himself as he saw himself as a monster(? ( and as much as it could hurt is ego like a idiot ) ). Twisteds have been around for a long time, it’s safe to assume he got sent out by dandy. Got attacked. Got left behind when he started showing signs to avoid anyone else getting hurt, and when he sees us ( the players ), he gets desperate for comfort, to be near someone again, just be left alone again for god knows how long.

What about the fact Goob looks traumatised? Or that Astro suffers from guilt and grief? Or that Shelly was ignored? All those have lore but I never see anyone acting sad over it.
Everyone always over looks the other twisteds but they act all sad over glisten. The only logical reason is because he doesn’t attack. I’ve seen other points like “oh but we see him be really sad” or “he’s really lonely” as if the other twisteds didn’t experience that. Any point they mention either applies to the other twisteds, or make him less sad.

When i was new, i first encountered glisten as either poppy is tisha. I was so confused when there was text at the bottom of the screen, when we finished the floor i asked why there were words. They said he was the only twisted that could speak, i was still confused like "i don't know who that is but okay 🤷♀️"
I knew what to do when Ifirst came across him. I was Boxten. I saw the text, and knew it was him. I felt so sad. I wanted to hug him so bad. All 4 of us just were wanting to be with him. Any time he is there, I want to be the sole person comforting him.

glisten wasnt fully corrupted yet and the bar means you need to stay near him if its empty he will attack he feels lonely so if all of the machines are finished he thinks hurting people will make them stay with him so thats why hes hurting you
