We are continuing to pray for all those who have been affected by the damages of hurricanes Helene and Milton. 🙏 There are so many places to make donations to help, I will list some here, but even if you can't help monetarily, please pray.

Apple Butter Dutch Baby
Ingredients:
5 TB butter
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup all purpose flour
2 TB apple butter
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Add butter to a large skillet and place in oven while it's preheating to melt the butter.
In a bowl mix the eggs, milk, flour, apple butter, and vanilla.
Pour over melted butter in skillet.
Bake for 22-25 minutes.
Serve with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or whipped cream!

My sister lives in Venice ,Florida. She is a hospice nurse, and she volunteered to go on lockdown in the hospice center to take care of patients. Her and another nurse took care of five patients for three days locked in the facility. I was so scared for her but they’ll come through this hurricane just fine, no matter how it had turned out she would never leave her patients. She is my hero.
I didn't even plant "impatients" (like yours) this year but they came back up again in my pots this spring?! They're not supposed to come back, but hey I'll take it. Yes, Manly is so cute, just love his comments.
You could hang your cast iron pans on the back porch. They’d look really cute out there. I used a cast iron towel rack that’s really heavy duty, then mounted it under my butcher block island. I hang my pans on S hooks there. Works great.

Thank you so much for praying for us Floridians as we are still facing flooding in other counties and many homes on the gulf coast are a disaster. We live in Central Florida about 10 miles from Legoland and we lost power, some flooding and trees were down as well as lots of debris all around but thankful to our Good Lord we are safe but my heart aches for the other families and businesses that lost so much. My family in Tampa and Pinellas County had lots of flooding and many of their friends lost their homes and/or businesses or had some damage from Helene and Milton. Thankful… Grateful… Blessed! We love you all in Georgia ❤️🫂🙏

Yes, impatients! They are easy to grow, and in NC in zone 8A, they often come back up each year! 🙌

Your flowering plant is an impatience. They are very easy to grow and always look so nice. Going to try that Dutch baby. We have our own apple butter also. And our own maple syrup that we make in the spring. I have not heard anything yet from my friends in Florida. I am still praying for them and all of the others.
They are Impatiens that prefer shade and water. Mine did okay but rarely bloomed. They do take care of themselves though.

Impatients are easy to grow and not much work just water them. They spread across a flower bed good. I had a flower bed in the corner of a house we lived in and they spread nice. My daughter lost power at her house and had a little water get in and lots of tree limbs down from hurricane Milton. They went to his Dad's house since he has power and said they could stay with him till their power comes back on. One thing good Milton did was bring cooler temps here.

In Sweden we make that pancake also bu we just calles it ovenpancake. We often have baconbites inside the pancake that you already have fried in a pan. Then we eat it with lingonberrie jam( taste almost like cranberries) and also with a bit of heavycream that you just poor ontop directly on the pancake.
Or we eat it plain with berries, jam, appelsaouse and whipped cream. Sooo good ❤😊

Happy Friday /early Saturday am my sweet family. Better goods are Walmart's new premium brand . So far I've tried a lot of that brand & it's been great. Taste a lot better than their great value or equate brand. It's a little more pricier but worth it to me. I'm so happy to see these beautiful crisp cooler days with the colors change of leaves. My kids love flap jacks as we call them one is a pumpkin spice lover & the other just either or. I never cared for them I always made waffles. My grandpa made hoe cakes man those were some kind of good . Kids these days don't know what they are unless they had them some time in life as mine did 😋😁. Love y'all, see y'all tonight. 😋😁🙏💜

Name that flower >Impatiens there annuals. They like shade and need water every other day during the growing season.They also come in many different colors. They do well in planters or in mass bed plantings. They are low maintenance and easy to to grow. One of my favorite flowers. Don't forget the miracle grow granulated fertilizer. You will love the results.Enjoy before the frost gets them.

Impatients....love them!! The ones you have are shade impatients. However, they also have sun impatients. If you fertilize them they will become quite large with lots of flowers.😊 Your apple butter looks yummy! I'm trying you recipe this weekend.
