How long did the round actually take as a two-ball and trackman set-up each time on a live golf course, presumably letting others play through. Interesting commentary of a real round we’re all familiar with. What sort of camera was used?
I retired from golf years ago because I could not drive a ball much beyond 200 yards. All the rest of my clubs were lacking distance at that same proportion. There were a few courses I played that had lakes that demanded a drive of 210 or 220. I couldn't do it. Still, I played "dry", short courses pretty well. A course like Gullane I would play in the mid 80s. Occasionally I would get into the upper 70s. The course had to be dry and no more than 6300 yards.
I appreciate the video. I'm at a 24 and have a goal to get my handicap down to a 15. Could you share the course's rating? Given the length of the course I guessed that it would be a 139 so you played better than your handicap because if it was a 139 you should have shot a 93.
Hi, your video is really cool. Great playing. Can you please let us know which software do you use for the movies to cut and edit and how to add the shot tracer?

How'd you find Gullane 3? All the courses there looked great 👍 Thanks for watching
@@UpDownGolf I played there a couple of years ago and I was a high 20s handicapper then so it was challenging in the wind but I loved the open nature of the course and no water! It’s only a Par 68 from memory??
How long did the round actually take as a two-ball and trackman set-up each time on a live golf course, presumably letting others play through. Interesting commentary of a real round we’re all familiar with. What sort of camera was used?
It took about 3.5/4 hrs I think. We don't set a trackman up, just a camera 👍
I'm tempted to stop it mid-flight at the 3:42 mark . . . can't get better than the opening couple Fents !
Hah good shout!
I'd be delighted with breaking level 5's. Great to see good honest golf, warts and all.
Thanks for watching!
Great vid! Need more of those , I'm still trying to work out how to calculate the handicap...Is it the average?
Thanks man! Your handicap is calculated by taking an average of your best 8 rounds of your last 20 👍
That's great, cheers! I'm playing Pga European Tour ( retro Amiga game) Lol! Must be great in real life. Congrats on the channel!@@UpDownGolf
Thanks dude!
Can't beat a great West Riding accent. Miss hearing every day
Haha thanks Paul!
Fent! Fabulous content. How do you do those fairway-overhead shot visuals showing to where you hit? That's cool, mate. Useful.
Thanks dude! I make them from scratch 👍
Nice! How do you map your shots to the fairway graphic to the right of screen?
I make it myself. Use and image of the hole and keyframe a ball in the correct places
As long as you had fun!
I appreciate the video. I'm at a 24 and have a goal to get my handicap down to a 15. Could you share the course's rating? Given the length of the course I guessed that it would be a 139 so you played better than your handicap because if it was a 139 you should have shot a 93.
Thanks for watching! Not sure on the rating, sorry Yoyozo
Thanks Yoyozo! Appreciate that! The course rating is 70.4 with a slope rating of 122
Great round Fents. 6 par’s. Enjoyed watching as always lads.
Cheers Daz!
Thanks Daz!
Great video nice 36 points , very consistent play, good putting stroke as a 24 man I aspire to this level of consistency
Thanks for watching Jon!
Hi, your video is really cool. Great playing. Can you please let us know which software do you use for the movies to cut and edit and how to add the shot tracer?
Thanks! I make them in Premiere Pro and After Effects
Think the saying ‘dodging bunkers like Daniel Fentaman’ has to be scrapped after this😂 great video and Fents is playing some great golf and looking great on his weight loss journey😁😁
Aha no he still doesn't end up in enough bunkers for me 😂 Thanks Ash! 👊⛳
Cheers Ashley, really appreciate that! Yeah links golf killed me with bunkers!
Great effort Fents playing to handicap on such a hard and unknown course!
🙌🙌
Price is always a option when playing a lot of courses perhaps you could include what these courses cost or any deals that are available but another great vid and looks like it was a enjoyable round
Yes, I am always curious on cost. This looks very nice.
Thanks Phil. It's about £250 for a round on the No.1 course. They have two others there too that are cheaper 👍
@@UpDownGolf Ouch, I play ~$30-$50 over here in Alabama. But they for sure don't hold a candle the the ones you are playing. #Beautiful
I enjoyed your video a lot! No bragging - just very human golfing! :-)
Thanks for watching Ulf! Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for watching!
Solid round of golf fella. Really enjoyed the video.
Thanks Peter, glad you enjoyed it!
