Battered squid rings, which is sold as a popular deep-fried street food in the Philippines, is served with alioli, mayonnaise or chilli vinegar.
Ingredients:
1 kl Fresh Squids, cleaned, cut into rings
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
½ cup Corn Starch
3 - 5 large Eggs
1 tsp Red Pepper Powder (add more if you want it spicier)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Himalayan Pink Dalt
⅛ tsp Ground Mixed Peppercorn
280g Panko Bread Crumbs (Japanese-style)
1/4 c Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying
Tartar Sauce:
300g Japanese Mayonnaise
30g Capers in Vinegar, drained and minced
1 medium Red Onion, peeled and minced
3 cloves Garlic, peeled and minced
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, minced
1 tbsp Calamansi Juice
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
Ground Mixed Peppercorn
Himalayan Pink Salt

Sigurado masarap ito. Sa ingredients pa lang ang mamahal na. Ganito siniserved ang calamares na pang mamahaling resto ang peg 😁. Hindi ito pwede pang benta sa kalye na mababa ang presyo mo mabebenta.

1 kg Fresh Squids, cleaned, cut into rings
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
½ cup Corn Starch
3 - 5 large Eggs
1 tsp Red Pepper Powder (add more if you want it spicier)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Himalayan Pink Dalt
⅛ tsp Ground Mixed Peppercorn
280g Panko Bread Crumbs (Japanese-style)
1/4 c Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying
[ Tartar Sauce ] :
300g Japanese Mayonnaise
30g Capers in Vinegar, drained and minced
1 medium Red Onion, peeled and minced
3 cloves Garlic, peeled and minced
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, minced
1 tbsp Lime / Calamansi Juice
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
Ground Mixed Peppercorn
Himalayan Pink Salt
Steps:
1) Cut 1 medium red onions into small beads.
See video how to cut. Set aside.
2) Mince 3 cloves garlic. Set aside.
3) Mince out 2 TABLEspoon fresh parsley.
See video how to cut. Set aside.
4) Squeeze out 1 TABLEspoon lime juice. Set aside.
5) Drain out and mince 2 TABLEspoon (30g) capers in vinegar. Set aside.
6) In a normal bowl, squeeze out 20 TABLEspoon (300g) Japanese Mayonnaise.
Add in minced 2 TABLEspoon (30g) capers,
small read onions beads,
minced garlic,
minced fresh parsley,
18-dash Himalayan Pink Salt,
18-dash Ground Mixed Peppercorn,
1 TABLEspoon brown sugar,
justnow 1 TABLEspoon lime juice.
Mix well.
7) Dry squid on paper towel and use paper towel to also dry it.
Slice squid into rings shape. Set aside.
8) In a big bowl, add 1 cup all-purpose flour,
1/2 cup cortnstarch,
1 TEAspoon red pepper powder,
1 TEAspoon garlic powder,
1/2 TEAspoon Himalayan Pink Salt,
1/8 TEAspoon Ground Mixed Peppercorn.
Mix them well with a whisk.
9) In another new bowl, beat 3-5 eggs.
10) In another new bowl, add 230g Panko Bread Crumbs,
justnow minced 2 TABLEspoon fresh parsley.
Mix well.
11) [Fry Squid Rings] Heat a big pot or wok, add 2 cups canola oil.
Add squid rings into the bowl contain mixed flour and mix them well make sure they are all flour-coated.
Add a few flour-coated squid rings into the bowl contain beaten eggs and mix them well make sure they are all egg-coated.
Add the egg-coated squid rings into the bowl contain Panko Bread Crumbs and mix them well make sure they are all crumbs-coated.
Add the crumbs-coated squid rings into the hot oil big pot wok and fry until golden brown.
Drain out golden squid ring and put onto a paper-toweled plate.
Continue the process until all rings are fried.
Serve.
