MI Wheat 2024 Summer Field Day: Setting up a High Yield Potential

MSU Professor Manni Singh talk about his several years of wheat systems agronomy aimed at improving wheat yields. He emphasized number of wheat grains and kernal weight as keys to improving yield per acre. To maximize sunlight early in the season, Dr. Singh has been breeding for maximizing canopy and canopy closure.
