Thanks for the mini cheddar meat loaf recipe! I'm gonna try it this weekend. I'm gonna add yellow peppers n onions to mine. Makes 6 meatloaf dinners under 6.00 a meal, perfect! I make meals then freeze so I can just thaw and heat on my lazy days! I'm hoping powered milk works as I quit buying milk due to lactose intolerance 😮. Looking forward to another whats for dinner recipe night! 😊
If you are lactose intolerance, powdered milk won't work for you. The lactose is in the "milk" part, not the cream (fat). I found out that by reading a book on it and trial and error. Lactose is not in heavy whipping cream or butter, hard aged cheese like cheddar, etc. Maybe powdered will work for you, I hope so.

I substitute teaching in middle school. The pay was good and they also give you a retirement plan. I too enjoyed working when I chose and how many days I wanted to work. Yes they call me just about every day you are busy and can work five days a week if you need to.

There is an IGA on main st but I prefer Ingles. Some go to food lion in Cherokee or all the way to Franklin there's supposedly an Aldi's. Great to see you're settled in. I love Ingles! We don’t have Ingles stores down in Florida. We have mostly Publix stores, but when I get to go vacation up in North Georgia I always get to go to the ones up there!😁

Melissa, if you paid more than 1.25 for the quick oats, milk, mustard and catsup, potatoes, etc. you could save a little bit of money buying at Dollar Tree, since you said there was one in Bryson City. Some of the brands they have are the same as in a regular grocery store. I have to watch my pennies, and a dollar saved here and there will add up, especially if you don't have to far to drive.

Does your Ingles have a salad bar.? The left over meatloaf , you could go ahead and make minis and freeze for next time. The store brand verses the brand brand are usually made in the same place with same ingredients. You are paying for the brand name. I have found the walmart brand great value has better ingrediets in some products. I think you will be a great substitute teach. Great speaking voice. Your tiny houses look good, but what happened to the porches? I want to visit Bryson City . An idea maybe visit visitors center or chamber of commerce. They might could pay you for promoting the area.
