The story for this was pretty well written. Diving expert dude overcoming his survivor's guilt and past to focus on the present and save his new comrades.
슬리피슬리디님은 어느나라 분이신가요... 진짜 수년동안 빠짐없이 업데이트 될때마다 브금 올려주시고 진짜 대단하다 생각함...메이플은 안한지 오래됫지만 브금 들으려고 항상 이 채널 방문합니다. 항상 응원합니다...ㅠㅠ 꾸준히 올려주시는 노력을 알아주는 구독자분들이 더 많아지셧음 좋겟네요. 안그래도 메이플 음악 관련 채널들에 이따금씩 홍보하구 잇어요..메이플, 글로벌 메이플... 메이플 브금 원곡 채널은 진짜 이 채널이 원탑!!

I don't grind much but sellas story is quite nice but it's some how too short. This bgm plays perfectly when you're looking for someone, reminds me alittle of intersellas ;)
When Sellas became part of the Esfera daily quest, I had no second thoughts of killing my daily mobs here ever since. The music speaks so much you can tell how this became a good send-off before the final battle.
This track just stuck in my brain constantly

But I do not dislike one bit
This reminds of the old school musics, just sadly it's 2minutes and not around 3.
belly of a whale
maplestory would be the perfect game to implement an ocean abyss area. As players progress deeper and deeper, gets darker and darker. Till they reach a cliff, drop down into pitch darkness. Huge underwater ocean boss, dark, pitchblack except a bright light in the middle. Hit it and the boss spawns. Giant fish/worm/squid whatever you fancy spawns, players need to fight with good coordination and mechanics to defeat the boss. And for the love of god, please don't implement some sorta meteor system to add "difficulty" to the fight. Root abyss bosses were well designed and unique, do something similar.
I'm sorry Richard, no boss this time. :(
They get eaten by a whale(as the soundtrack title suggests) though, so that's nice to get out of lol.

I think that was the idea behind the early regions released ingame. Think about Victoria Island Dungeon (yeah, THE Dungeon; the one within Sleepywood), Aqua Road Dungeon and even Ludibrium clocktower. They all follow the theme you mentioned and in my opinion they do it perfectly and I was happy when they did it in Sellas, too bad they didn't include a fightable boss but if you take the story into account there is a fight and struggle there, the fight of your teammate against his own fear and guilty conscience.
Feeling like a place where it's forgotten, only ghosts that cannot move on are wandering around, their souls are rotten endlessly but cannot disappear. The people used to have memories, but refusing to oblivion made them fade away everyday, until it left them nothing. The reason for their resistance is that they had known that their world was abandoned with no other side or the after life, they would vanish forever without resting.
스토리 보고나니 더 감동적으로 다가오네요 1.25배 해서 들어보세용ㅎㅎ
