I love the concept of rainbow bread. Such a good way to get your kids interested in their food.
Wow! I haven't seen rainbow bread in a very long time! Back home (Puerto Rico) during the 80's Rainbow bread was a staple for making little sandwiches and appetizers for birthdays, weddings and parties. This brings me back to my childhood. I wish I could find it now, my daughter would love it, she's obsessed with rainbows.

For the Crust for when u cut your bread shapes you take and egg and crack it in the middle and it’s like and egg with toast in it!! Plus you can use all the bread and it’s simple and easy for in the morning!!

Is anybody else wondering what on earth she uses all those crusts with? Also Bella is not picking compared to my 8 year old. For the first lunch all she’d eat is the apple sauce as she wouldn’t eat the banana when it’s brown! And the same with the second! Die the third lunch she would have eaten the sandwich and the pitta chips. The fourth she would have eaten the red, green and clear gummy bears, the sandwich and pitta chips. The fifth she wouldn’t have eaten anything!!
Abbie Graham Bella is really an adventurous eater. For the longest time she wouldn't eat salsa and I finally asked her if she had ever tried it. She hadn't and it turns out she loves it😂 We love going to different restraunts and trying new foods. It's a thing we stated doing when she was 2 and I was going through my divorce. I just would say try it and it's okay if you don't like it. I know that doesn't work on all kids though! I just got an adventurous eater ha ha
I use the bread for egg bake, a dip that calls for stale bread, meatloaf, meatballs...I make it into bread crumbs and use for chicken nuggets, fried mushrooms...
Bella Boo's Lunches my daughter will try some things, especially if her older sister tries it! Ohh ok, thanks for letting me know and replying. My daughter could never have rainbow bread as that type of sugar makes her go crazy??!
I LOVE the rainbow bread. Even though I’m almost 20 (my birthday is on the 16th) I wish my local stores carried it. I’d love to add some style to my food. 😍😂 I love how you enjoy making Bella’s lunches! 💜💙

Ahh Bella you did SOOOO good this week!!Wow! I have a suggestion for your lunch! For a fruit, try a rainbow fruit roll up! Take a tortilla and spread cream cheese or fruit dip on a glue, and then get strawberries for red, mango for orange, pinapple for yellow ( no bananas, too mushy!) honeydew for green, blueberries for blue, and you can do grapes as purple! You can do your favorite colored fruit, it doesn't have to be a rainbow, just colorful. Roll it up and slice it up for a great lunch addition! Great video! Sorry this is so long. See you next week!
Try doing a little slice of tomato cucumber ham and cheese it seems disgusting but it is really nice. LOVE YOU. Hope u try it and make Bella try it and do it in a video cos I would love to see how you guys like it
My mum used to make me Mountain Sandwiches basically you can make it a triangle or a cool mountain shape you could use brown or Rainbow bread for the bottom and white bread for the top ( as the snow ) and just fill the sandwich with her favourite sandwich fillers.

Rainbow bread was life when I was a kiddo!! My mom would get it for us once in a while for our sammies. It wasn't very popular back in the day but our local grocery store would have it on occasion so of course we had to beg for it lol! Only good thing is now many companies are making more "natural" food dyes or plant based food dyes that are much better for your kids. Homemade rainbow bread would be an awesome DIY to do! Maybe master a good white bread recipe and then attempt the rainbow masterpiece!

We had a rainbow birthday cake once and I almost didn't even have a piece b/c it looked like play-doh. It tasted fine, but, the colour still throws me off.
We've started using flavoured cream cheese as well - garlic and herb for us.
