Hi emily, I'm from ecuador. I was wondering if gut strings are really that expensive. I play violin and viola and each string cost $55 Is that the same price in the usa?
From my maker a set of cello strings costs about $200, but the prices usually vary to be cheaper for the higher strings and more expensive for the lower strings. I think violins are slightly less expensive. It sounds like our prices are a little less than yours but not a huge difference.
