Dont keep going, push it off to the side. Learned the hard way. Unless its fluff. I would have made piles off to the side, and then resumed pushing the volume back..dont waste the pass and reverse, just turn around and go off to the side when you go one way.... . Like piles along the side. I tried pushing a bunch of snow and ended up with an iceberg that i couldn't move. Had to chip away at it with snowblower. I also commented on your fb post too. Also have a mahindra with a snowpusher. The thing get work done! and amen to turning down the heat! It gets HOT in that cab.
Hello, I think it could handle a 10' Boss snow push but they're very heavy. With your circumstance having the backhoe as a counter weight, I think you would be fine.
@@TCIAdventures Thank you. The lifting capacity of my machine is 3200 lbs with a weight of 10,000 lbs. I am not concerned with the weight of the plow, my concern is does it have enough power to push it with a full load of snow.

I am trying to decide between an 8' and 10' Boss snow pusher using a 56 HP backhoe. Do you think your machine could handle a 10' wide plow?

You will have plenty of power unless plowing in too high of a gear. I will spin with my machine before running out of power.
