I love the white borders around the photos so much! Gives it such a minimal and clean look. I did that with my 2013/2014 Project Life albums and this video makes me want to revisit that way of printing from a style perspective. Gorgeous pages. Thank you for the inspiration!!
I'm so happy to find a fellow stamper! I use many stamps in my memory keeping and I finally found someone who I can relate to :) I really loved this video, Sarah. Enjoyed it so much. To your question- This year, I'm documenting more than usual actually. I am creating daily, which has never happened before. Currently, I'm working on Weekly PL albums (12X12 inch sized), Traveler's Notebooks, Altered books for my Art Journaling and commonplace books for quotes and songs lyrics that inspire me. I'm really enjoying the process, way more than anything.
You are back, yay! I've been making PL in 6x8 pocket pages for several years, and I'm going to continue. But haven't started 2020 so far, scrapbooking random events in TN albums is more fun for now.
i've just started documenting/scrapbooking after 7 or more years. I've starting with a big project: a 10 day volunteer trip to el salvador!!! I'm using a 6 x 12 pocket pages for that and soon, for the first time, i'm going to do Ali Edwards' "Week in the Life" in a 6 x 8.
Beautiful....this year I’ve changed it up. I’m still doing 12x12 and doing a diary account in an 8x11 insert. My boys are now 12-14-16 and busy with sports etc so I thought I’d write about what they are currently into weekly. I just do 1 12x12 page and do inserts for anything interesting.
That sounds like a great plan! I'm sure your boys will really appreciate being able to go back and look at your journaling :) It's so nice to be able to switch up the format in different seasons of life.
Beautiful layout! I'm a long time PL'er and hope to see more videos from you using this format. I must say I'm a little afraid that people are veering from this format and these types of videos are what inspire and teach me. 😊
Super cute layout, love how you use stamps. I am still working on my December Daily 12x12 pocket pages and not sure if I like the limitation of a particular format of packets.
I had to pause it after you said what book your reading and tell you that it's on Netflix. My daughter said it was really good (but we would all agree, the book is always better)
@@PaperLanePress I just happen to have a hard time sleeping last night so I watched it at 1am. It was very very good! Frustrating at times because you want to yell at some people...lol.
@@msjr1765 Haha, totally! I finally watched it a couple of night's ago too . . . I thought they did a good job of bringing the book to the screen- you're initial thoughts were right though- the book is still better :)
This turned out really nice...love you you make everything "work" together. Made for a beautiful story spread for sure! This year I am working on a monthly PL 12 x 12 album with two twelve and one 6 x 12 spread for each month. My life is pretty simple. I am single and my kids are grown and live in another state so there isn't a lot of photo opportunities so I add a few selfies for the month, a few photos of things like sunsets and scenery pics while out geocaching, screenshots of things from my life like the Weather Center app or songs I Shazam'd, q quote, a poem, pics of my cats and home projects like how I now have my fireplace decorated. I used to have a fireplace when I owned (and still do) a condo in Kansas (now live in Aurora, CO) and missed not having one but now that I have one in my current apartment I added shelves to my fireplace and am loving having one to decorate again and plan to do this monthly this year. I am also adding "li8ts" of currently things I am into, in love with or bought...just normal stuff from my daily life really.
I love that you are keeping it up! I look back on my projects from before I was married and had my daughter and I love seeing what I was into and what I was doing. Those are honestly some of my most treasured projects.
Hi! I print my photos in all different sizes, though most are 3x4 and 4x6 to fit the pockets. I print them all at home. I'll try to film something soon walking through my photo printing process.
Hi there! I print them at home :) I'm not sure if this video had all of my tools listed in the description box, but my newest video (posted Friday) does, and all future videos will as well. Hopefully that helps!

Quite good video, awesome! Would you like to be UA-cam friends? :]

Thanks, Laura! I seem to always choose borders so that no matter how busy my photos are there's at least a little bit of white space in each pocket :)

Awe, thanks! Those TNs are so fun and quick to put together! I love being able to jump around and document whatever's inspiring at the moment.
Hello. I am also using a 9x12 album this year and it’s working out really well. I enjoyed watching your video! TFS.
Nice! I love the 9x12 size too- it feels like a good fit, at least for this year :). Thanks for stopping by!
Beautiful PL spread! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching!
Beautiful share💜
Thank you, Gina!!
Super cute
Thank you, Sam!

I loved this!!! Thank you for doing this video. Not weird but your voice is very easy to listen to.😀
Thank you for watching! Honestly, that's such a sweet compliment, especially since it can be tough to hear my voice again and again as I edit lol.
it's so nice to see you back ;) love this layout
Awe, thank you so much!
Love the layout! Where did you buy your album from?
Thank you! I'm using the 9x12 album from Studio Calico.

I'm so happy you enjoyed the video! Planning to share many more pocket page layouts- it's one of my favorite memory keeping formats :)

I sometimes get tired of the same size too. A couple of years ago I used a 9x12 album but then switched between doing 6x12 and 9x12 pages.
I had to pause it after you said what book your reading and tell you that it's on Netflix. My daughter said it was really good (but we would all agree, the book is always better)
I'm looking forward to seeing how it translates to a movie. I think the more recognition her story gets the better!

Love how you incorporated the washi tape. :-)
Thank you! For some reason I rarely use it in pocket pages, so it was fun going for something different :)
Hello! Discovering project life, I have a few questions : what are the sizes of your photos and where do you print such nice sizes!? Tks
Hi! I print my photos in all different sizes, though most are 3x4 and 4x6 to fit the pockets. I print them all at home. I'll try to film something soon walking through my photo printing process.
I am new to this as well and would love a video on the printers you use and how to print photos at home please!
I love how much stamping you do. Sometimes I just forget to pull out my many stamps.
Thank you! I forget to use my stamps a lot of times too . . . my desk always looks like a crafty explosion after using a few sets, but it's fun :)
Where and how do you print your pic?
