I don't care much for her nasty ass attitude. However, she does what a lot of women don't do but need to do. She leaves.
A lot of women afraid to be single/want that marriage title so bad that they will marry anything, knowing he/or she isn't for them early on. They stay for years, procreating in the mess while the mate has them stressed, depressed, bitter, angry, financially struggling, a married-single mom, abused, cheated on and etc.
If a relationship doesn't work, hell just move on. Maybe you find one you can happily settle down with, maybe you wont. Just make sure you're doing what you need to make yourself happy no matter if you're single or not.
Amen and Amen..Love Evelyn's courage to say what it is for her..She had more financially to lose and when she asked him if they could just date, he said no. That is also a red flag. Had she marry and without a prenup, then she would have been quite vulnerable financially. I love love and I would love nothing more than that to be enough however women are permitted to change their minds. So what if she prefers a man with more financially, men have their preferences as well however women unafraid to speak their trues are vilified. I currently have sisters, cousins, nieces, aunts, friends, coworkers and associates who got a grown ass man but asking my single ass/their parents/friends to help pay bills, buy diapers, food, babysit.
My niece sends us picture of an empty fridge. Girl he was broke before you had the kids, broke now because he won't get a job. After she got mad because we stayed on her about herself getting a job/her man getting one to better their lives/the kids. I told her any time she asks me for money I'm going to ask why her man doesn't have it.
She finally stopped asking me, but still ask other family members. The girl used to ask every two weeks for money. She's on welfare, rent $100 dollars, food stamps, WIC but letting that boy lay up playing video games all day, half watching the kids. Now she's allegedly working two jobs.
Oh but I'm supposed to give my money because they chose to get with/stay with a broke dude. But see nobody will listen to me because I'm single. Yet they can come to my single ass for money. Because I'm single, I don't know what I'm talking about when I tell them to leave a cheater, beater, deadbeat dad, broke/broken dude. I'm single because I won't put up with the bullshit and haven't found someone who isn't with the bullshit, but I'm still happy because I love myself. So I mind my business/money and let people live their life how they want to.
