- To be honest we expected more quality food from this Starbucks in Rome, Italy.
Beside finding a paper label inside one of the sandwiches, we liked the Italian style revisitations of the food. We only wish it was fresher.
The drinks were good!

Whenever I visit Italy…Starbucks is the last place I would ever visit😅 like I’m going to Italy..I’m gonna try the authentic fresh taste of espresso, the delicious food and admire the scenery 😁
But even in America Starbucks is overpriced and overrated in my opinion I only go for two drinks that’s about it😅

I'm not surprised. You're in Europe, where bread is much better. You're in Italy, where I'm told coffee is MUCH better. Starbucks is okay, for the USA, but it's like going for a Subway Sandwich in NYC where there are MANY much better options.

There is absolutely nothing special when mom makes meals. The flavours does not enhance.
I've had better meals at restaurants than my own mother's cooking. Same goes with grandma vs restaurant cooking. Restaurant cooking is far better.
I think people in Italy (I already know of this considering I'm half Italian), that the meals are meals. Eating pasta with ketchup, or mustard or bland or whatever condiments you put on it, or toppings you put on pizza; does not mean anything. People in American, like in Italy, all play the same role when it comes to food. If you modify what you are use to eating growing up, to them it's not considered "Italian" or "American. To me, in the end, it's silly.

Me: Oh kay. And why not?
Me: Why does Italian's get upset at people for breaking pasta?
Me: Did you know half Americans and half Italians actually like Pineapple on pizza?
Me: Did you know Pastawoman here on UA-cam actually confirmed that the only time you break pasta is making a "specific" pasta dish? Not sure why it has to be a specific dish to be considered oh kay to break pasta.
My girlfriend teases me because I'm Italian , because she seen videos of Italians getting upset people all over break pasta or, mixing ketchup or whatever in the pasta. I look at her and shake my head and tell her to just do it. It's just food in the end. You eat, taste for a few seconds, digest and shit it out.
It's all for views and likes.
I'm Italian and like pineapple on pizza, what's the crime? Just because billions of others do not do it, and it's not considered "Italian", does not mean anything to me.
Did you know small amounts of Americans put pineapple on burgers? Did you know they put peanut butter on a burger? Or make PB&J pizza? But the most talked about food that's a crime-in America and Italy: is pineapple on pizza. 🤷♂️.
If these two do not like starbuck's coffee, it's because they lived in this world that anything ate growing up has been modified, or has too much sugar or flavours; is not considered Italian enough.
Again, all this behaviour Italians and Americans act on when it comes to food; that it's not "American like" or "Italian like", has gotten a little overboard in my opinion.

And we can hate wtf we want, there're so many people who deathly hate pineapple pizza ( so do I), food is the things to eat to grow up and enhance your brain, bro :) So choosing it is very important, many scientists have studied that when you eat your fav food it will make you happy and working more effectively. We just express about our feelings, as least we don't do anything wrong and we also protect the culture.

Yes some people love food that other people hate and some people like some food cooked a certain way or with a certain thing and that doesn't give people who don't like that food the right to be rude about it! Like for example I don't like chicken liver but if someone else who does eats it in front of me I'm not going to go 🤮 THATS SOO GROSS WHY DO YOU LIKE THAT I'm going to maybe say I don't like it if they ask but I'm not going to hate them for eating it, everyone has different taste buds and preferences and opinions, so they don't have to be rude about lionfield's opinion just cus there's is different! Their food is always questionable. The bread is either too hard or too soggy. Starbucks is way overpriced for their mediocre food and coffee.
I like Subway sandwich much more than Starbucks at half price. The cake also tastes bad in Starbucks. It's so pricey, but not worth it at all.

Starbucks is too expensive and they gave a small cup of drink.
I miss my 1 euro espressos in Italy. Here in California an espresso is usually 3-4 dollars and cappuccino around 5.

I would never tried Starbucks in Italia!!! I would go into a local neighborhood cafeteria and get my own cappuccino and add some sugar into it and dip my biscotti and would be so happy

Not an Italian, but I've been to Japan's Starbucks. I admit the Japanese pay attention to food details quite well, to the point their Starbucks is not mediocre, as in dry, hard-rock.

From Brennero all the way down to Lecce every gas station has an amazing coffee. My favourite is Machiato lungo.
In Panama we have our own coffee chain, Kotowa Coffee. It is way better and is a little less pricey.

Everything you ordered... I have never heard on a Starbucks menu! 🤣Except for maybe Emi's cookie frappe- In the US, they have the Mocha cookie crumble frappe which is amazing. I've heard of the strawberry drink but I think Matte may have ordered the wrong one. Starbucks is super overpriced but Quinoa Croissants?? Its suppose to be a butter Croissant! 😂 Aiaaa... this is the Anti-Starbucks! 😂

I'd love to see you guys visiting a specialty coffee in Rome, like Faro. In the international specialty coffee scene, Italians seem to have a bad reputation for sticking with overly roasted cheap robusta coffees that taste like burned rubber. So please fix that and try some nice lightly roasted arabicas. 😆
Make a video from the starbucks in Milano. Not for the coffee or other produce they sell, but for the place itself and its design. 😊
