Hi Sir, I'm a big fan of prot warriors. Could you please test something for me ? Spec to around 1960 block value(soft cap) and do a shield slam without glyph of blocking, on 80lvl dummy, then apply Glyph of Blocking, and do the same and could you show us the values in terms of block vs damage increase ? could you also do the same with Shield block up, with and w/o shield of blocking ? thxxx
@@Allgammon420 hi mate, what I'm trying to see if the soft cap is 1960 block value, and the glyph of blocking takes you above it , lets say to 2150, if there's any damage increase from that or not. Possible you can check for us ? ~200 more block should be 200 more dmg. Also you have to have glyph removed to test that :)
@@Allgammon420 I believe its 24.5 x lvl(80) - 1960 soft and hard cap is 34.5x so 2760 but I know for sure Shield Block can "ignore" these caps however I read on Icy-veins website that Glyph of blocking can too. If that is the case then if you have 1960 block value and you do a shield slam into dummy, for lets say 5000dmg, with the glyph then for 5200, then its bypassing the cap. If you do 5020 then no :) worth testing pls
Only basic skills, every prot that hits 80 and gets some gear does this - you could do much more for the team - using fear sometimes? Spell reflect? Recklessnes/shield wall? Now it looks like you just want to top the damage meter

@@deniscadore91 as protection warrior you fight in defensive stance like 99% of the time and you dont have to use execute you have way more powerful abilities in defensive stance but if u play arms u Will play with all 3 stances like you can see in my other clips 🙂

Im around 1.9k Block value on this clip so thats the dmg you will deal 🙂
