I faced problem in pull in and pull out mic in bh76 model. Though it built robustly, spring inside sometime struck and pulling back to its original position is huge task and needs some expertise. It was fine for few months and after 2 months I started to face this issue
As far as durability, would there be any future damage in your opinion? We are trying to move away from Jabra because they break frequently. The microphone part of Jabra usually twist on the inside which ruins the microphone. On this design it just pulls in and out. Is that a better alternative?

Thanks, great review as always :)
Question: (I always make this one hahaha): If I buy an Yealink BH71 without the USB dongle, and buy this BH76 that comes with the dongle, can I use the same dongle for both? (sure, one each time)
Yes you can do this use 1 dongle for both headsets. However, you may have to go through the pairing process each time you want to switch or at a bare minimum you'll have to power down one of them to get the other one to pair.
Also do we have option to switch from on ear type of cushion pads to over cushion pads on Bh76 just like BH76 plus has? If so where I can purchase those cushion padding’s?
Yes, you can switch from on ear to over ear. Check your local market or contact Yealink on where the ear cushions can be purchased.
Does the microphone still wobble when pulled out? It gives the impression of very poor quality.
yes lots of wobble on the mic when pulled out but seems to be built well meaning the mic wont pull out or break easily.
I still prefer the BH70 style headsets
Yes the BH70 is lighter more comfortable and better microphone for phone calls.

That mic performance is disappointing for a top of the line headset. Their own BH70 is way better
I have BH76, it's pretty decent for calls
For sound quality you mean? Yes it will be decent for calls it's just not going to have the best noise cancelling mic to block all the background noise which if you have problems you can always add neep.com
