Thank you, Cecilia! My intention is always to make tangling accessible and doable with simple and easy to follow instruction. I will soon be offering, on my website, www.zenjo.uk full video classes which will enable me to guide, support and teach people in more depth. These shorter UA-cam videos give you a taste of what and how I teach. 💖
I just found your channel. Following your instructions I was able to create a “What-The-Well” I was happy with on the first go. That doesn’t often happen. Love your clear instruction.
Thank you for the clear instructions as zentangle can be so confusing. Also happy there is no music to distract from the instruction and not sped up as I too can get motion sickness when its sped up. Love this tangle.
I'm pleased that you enjoyed the video, Sophie. 😊 My intention is always to make tangling accessible and doable with simple and easy to follow instruction. I always share 'real time' videos on UA-cam with verbal instruction. I share the same videos on other social media platforms with some speed increase and calm music as they have a time limit for videos. I'm very conscious of still making these versions watchable and encouraging. I will soon be offering, on my website, www.zenjo.uk full video classes which will enable me to guide, support and teach people in more depth. These shorter UA-cam videos give you a taste of what and how I teach. 💖
Thank you so much! I've tried what the well a few different times but your instruction by far has been the best! Thank you for taking going slowly so we can follow along❤😊
💝💝💝💝 From Angele: Love your technique! It's a great way to draw What the well. I'm now on my third tile! Thank you for sharing. -Angele, Devon, Alberta, Canada 💝💝💝💝
Wonderful! Isn't it great when you get in the flow of tangling something many times? This is one of the best things for finding your calm and enjoying being creative. I'd love to see what you create. Maybe you can tag me on Facebook or Instagram? Zenjo Zentangle Best wishes, Jo
I am so pleased that you enjoyed the video and have created your own version. Making Zentangle accessible an 'doable' is what I love to do. 🤩 I will soon be offering, on my website, www.zenjo.uk full video classes which will enable me to guide, support and teach people in more depth. These shorter UA-cam videos give you a taste of what and how I teach.
What a wonderful tutorial. I am very new to Zentangle and always watch a tutorial before attempting the tangle myself. This is so clear and calming to watch, my apprehension at tackling what appears to be a very difficult tangle has disappeared. Thanks so much.
Hi Karen, I'm so pleased that you are enjoying the videos. As a beginner I always recommend that you take an introduction class with a Certified Zentangle Teacher as this will give you the core principles of the Zentangle Method and some key tangles, techniques and terminology. You might be interested to know that I will, later this week, be releasing my Introduction to Zentangle Video Course. In this course I take you through the Zentangle Method, creating 2 full tiles in two separate lessons, with supporting documentation, as well as giving detailed information about the materials that I use. The Video Course booking information will be published on my website www.zenjo.uk and on my Facebook page - Zenjo Zentangle. Best wishes, Jo
Your method of drawing this pattern is much easier than what i watched on another channel. Thank you for making so easy. I know i can this now and not be stressed.😊
You are very welcome, Andrea. I will be adding video classes to my website very soon, so you might like to take a look at those as cover far more in a full class. Jo
Thank you so much. I cant believe i did it just like your direction. It was super easy as well as i am a beginner. I tried with a pencil as it was my first time. 🙏🫶🏻
Welcome , Sherry! I have been a bit busy over the last couple of months - running my retreat in the USA - but hope to add some more videos soon. Are you new to Zentangle? Jo
There is never any need to be scared. Simply draw one line at a time. I know that you can create this....and much more. If you haven't done so I would recommend that you take an Introduction to Zentangle class as that ill give you the core elements of the Zentangle Method, some key tangles and techniques and build your confidence. 🙂
Grazie mille. È stato fantastico. Ho capito che non dovrò fare un test cognitivo... sai a 73 anni questi test cominciano. Vorrei mandarti una foto ma non saprei come fare. ❤❤❤
At the very end, you reference "the mosaic app" Which app is this, please? The ones I find in Google shops don't seem to be a place to share things..... Thank you (I'm going to try it with watercolors)
Hi Lucy, The Mosaic App is Zentangle HQ's own App Here is the link on their website: zentangle.com/pages/zentangle-mosaic-app It's a purely Zentangle App that you can access and view free but for a small subscription you can upload your tiles, comment upon other tiles, and have access to tangle step-outs and Zentangle HQ videos etc. It's also a very friendly, safe place to be and you will be able to connect with lots of other likeminded tanglers. I hope that helps. How did the watercolour version go? Best wishes, Jo
Thank you. Life has been a bit busy over the last year or so. I have lots of video ideas but just have to make time to record etc. i do have lots oof my regular classes available as recordings, though. From beginner introduction classes too more advanced. Just email me if those might be of interest to you. info@zenjo.uk Happy tangling. Jo
That was a very calming session where you broke down a complex pattern into a string of very simple elements.. Thanks you!! ❤
It took me all day but I did it… shading is so dramatic … thanks for guiding and sharing
Best instruction on how to do "what the well" that I have seen. Many, many thanks!
