Atlantis: The Lost Empire has one of the greatest soundtracks ever made, it’s what got me into James Newton Howard to begin with, this cover was amazing!
Ah brings back memories of one of my favorite animated adventure movies about the legendary city that sunk and was never found again until many years later it surfaced again to bring the legend to light again and one of the greatest myths of the seven seas!
I'm happy that you're excited for a live action version. I personally am not, I don't think live action can do this story as much proper justice as animation can especially since over half of it would probably be cg animated anyways. But I'm always happy to hear others are excited for one. This movie is so underrated and very high concept especially for Disney. Personally, I think it'd be cooler to remake the movie into a 2d animated LOTR style Trilogy. One story across 3 movies all produced as a single entity. I also think an animated remake of Atlantis would make for the perfect candidate to introduce PG-13 rated animated Disney movies, as well as the perfect revival for 2d animation in Disney.
@@timothyharwood1941 I agree that as a general rule live action films aren't as appealing as animated ones (especially films that were designed for the medium). But I have to say that of all of them, I think this one would have the greatest potential not to be a totally forgettable failure. The original film was rough around the edges with room to improve, all the main characters are human and there are no talking animal sidekicks, it was influenced by classic live action adventure films like Indiana Jones, and it has an aesthetic somewhat similar to the (first 2) live-action Hellboy films. So I think it's at least possible to get decent results. Still love the original, though. It'll always be one of my faves.
I like this video. Atlantis it´s one of my favorites animated movies. I´m Social Anthropologist and when i´m working writing, I like listen this soundtrack. Congratulations, I´m fan of this video.
Well someone brought back the shear grandness that is the Lost City of Atlantis right back to life. Thanks i love this so much!!! You got so much talent..i also love the Sinbad you put in there nice touch 😄❤🕶
Just to be clear The middle part is the soundtrack of the Simbad's action movie, in the mermaids scene The last part is from Pirates of Caribbean, the IV chapter about the mermaids
Long ago in the days of Atlantis they dwelled into dark magic summoning beings from below gor.less were they of another vibration only by magic could they be discovered only by blood could they be brought forth creeping into the councils of kings walking among the sons of Atlantis in shadow

Something that was meant to be an instrument of healing was never supposed to be a weapon of war due to arrogance of rival gods

Such a handsome avatar you have.
Yeah the Atantis soundtrack is really unique
Atlantis you deserve so much more than you got. I can only hope to see something this amazing in my lifetime
James Newton Howard really made some amazing soundtracks during the early 2000s. What a legend!
oooo I like the mix of sinbad in there...
And Atlantis loves making Sinbad too!

i don't know why, yet this is getting me excited for the live action movie
I don't think there is a live action movie coming
@@ecampbell9506 well I have found an article that says it won't happen, not yet at least
If they made this and Treasure Planet live, it would be the dawn of a New Age... but the Live Action remakes are bringing epic power back into Disney.

El mio tanbien ,es mi recuerdo de infancia este soundtrack
I see someone became the real life Milo...with his very own soundtrack nonetheless go you!!
mixed with Sinbad , Very nice
Would have liked it if they added more Atlantis music, like that music that plays when they return Kida to the city or the reprise at the end.
0:30 my part fav🎉
This is what I have been searching for my whole life.

the images in this video are so HD it's incredible
I'm writing a book relating to atlantis so this is a great soundtrack
simply a great film that has great music with crystal chamber and atlantis from no angels
When I am drunk I begin to see Atlantis in all of its splendour.
16:15 to 17:23 THIS PART IS VERY ATLANTIS. It's from the movie Agora (song: The Skies do not fall): ua-cam.com/video/bX8pVH4EU9A/v-deo.html
Just to be clear
The middle part is the soundtrack of the Simbad's action movie, in the mermaids scene
The last part is from Pirates of Caribbean, the IV chapter about the mermaids
Technically they're sirens not mermaids they are similar but different
FINALLY SOMEONE NOTICED 😊
I like the Sinbad music thrown in.
The only thing I want to say is: I love you and your work.
I got very confused at Sinbad soundtrack... But I like it
Same composer I think
Amo esta trilha. Linda demais...
This is very good but including the "lady in the water" prologue music would be perfect
I am from Atlantis and i can confirm to you that this is not the music of my people.
One question... This 10:04 Song is not from Sinbad the legend of the 7 Seas?
It is !
13:26 great 👌
14:50 reminds me of the Man of Steel soundtrack
It's Potc 4
Same Composer
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
That's amazing
A clean classic
What is James Carmeron waiting for ? After Avatar, we neeeeed him for a live action Atlantis !
Nice! Love the arts

Dunno why they say “inspired by” Utopia. This is a straight up soundtrack rip of the soundtrack for the Disney movie Atlantis.
Incredible

Where did you get this picture from?
atlantis....suabia,,,,
Where'd you get the first image?
im asking the same thing, Ill try make one similar
I like so much the picture of the video. For a moment a thought it was the live action movie of Atlantis.
Who did Atlantis's soundtrack? It sounds like Narnia's in some parts.
James Newton Howard, who also did Treasure Planet soundtrack ;) you're right!
it`s really funny, but i heard some song (mermaid song) there from sinbad legend of the seven seas😅you must be more attentive)
❤👍🏻
The last part is what?
Agora - The Skies do not fall: ua-cam.com/video/bX8pVH4EU9A/v-deo.html
Ya got a lil sinbad in here, lol just saying. No complaints though
The first half is really beautiful, but the second half is not.
The second is for simbad
