I lived many years in the North West of England - you're the most Irish part of the big island to our left. You smile at strangers and make a proper cup of tea. As a result of these foolhardy gestures of hibernophilia we descend on you regularly, and some of us neve leave. My husband was a Manchester man. Youse are fantastic.
The youngest witness to the Knock apparition was a 5 year old boy named John Curry. He emigrated to the USA & died in New York. He was buried initially in an unmarked grave on Long Island. His remains were exhumed & were reinterred in St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral cemetery on the 13th May 2017.
It’s amazing you know this because my Grandfather was Joe Kennedy and he was the person who chartered the flight from knock airport to bring people to New York for that memorable experience and i was young then but I have a photo next to the coffin of John Curry’s remains with a tricolour placed over it 😢❤😊
He went to America with a vision he'd never forget and will have touched everyone he knew whether he or they recognised it or not. She's not just Queen of Ireland, but of the whole world. Our Lady of Knock, of Akita, of Lourdes, of Kibeho, of Fatima, of Zeitoun, of Kursk, of Mercy, of Peace - pray for us.
