Chris Evans was born to play Captain America.
I see him more of a johnny storm myself
I Know Right!!
That is America's ass.....
Nah. He was born to play Jake Wyler...
Too bad he wasnt born to play Human Torch tho :/
This and the scene where Jarvis tells Tony, "You cannot beat this man" were the two best examples of how bad ass he is.
Pretty sure that was Friday not Jarvis, but totally agree
@squallstopher608 I was thinking that was before the creation on Vision. But if not then Friday it is.
Tony: "This suit can take a tank shell to the face, how is he not breaking his hands right now?"
Friday: "...something about kung fu?"
You can't win....
It was Friday and she said "you can't beat him hand to hand".
"It sure feels personal."
Best line ever.
Nah that line is actually the cheesiest out of this scene
@Booz2020actually he said “It kinda feels personal.”
"I'm not locked in here with you; you're locked in here with me."
Another true patriot.
@@razzledazzle84921 the whole point of that character was to show the dangers of extremist beliefs but I'm sure you're being sarcastic... right?
Who said that it’s driving me nuts trying to remember who said it?
@@carlbravo2zerowilson Rorschach. The prison scene in the film Watchmen.
@@graceskerp I always thought a small correction would've made the line better. Instead of "locked" on the second part "trapped"🤔
In the comics, Captain America was always kind of archetypal. He was always Captain America and never wavered from being that. He was so Captain American that he was almost a jerk.
Chris Evans made the character so very human. Chris made me like Cap again.
I agree 100%. I was never a fan of him in the comic books but these movies made me a fan of Chris Evans version
@@maggs131yupp he was kinda a dick in the comics the animated and movie versions are better
I have never read all the comics, but the one I did read was the Marvel DC crossover.
In that one, Captain America & Batman, set aside their fight (unlike the other heroes) and team up to investigate who set the heroes up against each other.
I always like the idea of a 'thinking' hero. One who sees the bigger picture and uses his mind, rather than might, to resolve a problem
Incredible movie. The chemistry between Natasha and cap was perfect😮. I enjoyed this more than civil war. MCU will never be the same without chris evans. He is Captain America😊
Winter Soldier is the BEST MCU movie ever
By far! Love the Winter soldier but I love Bucky's n Steve's friendship. I'd give soooo much to have a friend like that...
One of my favourite action scenes of the last few decades. Beautiful set up, very tense. Played perfectly.
CA: The Winter Soldier is one of the best films in the MCU and definitely one of the best comic book films. Action-packed and with a tight narrative. This film really showed what a man like Steve Rogers ACTUALLY could do if he had the Super Soldier Serum, a Vibranium shield, and unshaking resolve. THIS. IS. Captain America. The ICON. Put to film in the best way possible.
The fact that they knew they needed hella bodies and they still didn't send enough
Captain America: Before we get started, does anyone want to get out.
Me: Um... yes please.
I would have gotten a good laugh if some poor office drone who got on the wrong elevator raised his hand and everyone waited to go down another floor for him to get off.
This was peak Cap, and peak Marvel. It's fallen so far now.
Peak Marvel for sure, best movie to date IMO!
When you have good characters based on proven source material this is what is possible. Captain America is an archetype that people of any culture can respond to because of what he represents (not America, but doing what’s right and protecting the innocent). He represents positive masculinity, and his counterpart in the film represents when that is corrupted. Marvel worked when it told stories using archetypes and storytelling methods that have always worked, then progressives got ahold of the reins.
Marvel turning to 🌈 that's what happening now
Great comment it’s sad how awesome it was to how mediocre it has become.
Agreed its all thanks to Disney and Rainbows people@@stevenvegh7964
The MCU is everything you’d ever want from a comic book movie. The 2010s were Marvel’s golden age.
To me, The Winter Soldier is still hands down the best Marvel movie . It stands on its own. Great soundtrack, acting, action, etc. It has it all. If Marvel wants to regain the glory of the first decade, it isn't about bringing back actors from the 1st decade. It's about exploring new characters and making good movies. Quality over quantity, man. I'm getting good vibes from Captain America 4. I hope it delivers.
Was expecting john wick to be standing in the hall way after seeing this fight secene again 😂
This movie is amazing not because it’s the MCU but because it’s just a solid movie alone.
They legit had 9 men trapped in a lift with Cap 😂
0:43 guy in the movie BOSS LEVEL 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Frank grillo
Every now and then, I always come back to this scene to watch. One of the best sequences in Marvel history.
I love that last look he gives, knowing exactly who’s going to initiate it.
Pure classic!!
😂😅❤❤ Badazz scene!! Battle experience and that soldier instinct was telling Cap its about to go down.
Rumsfeld(?) respected Rogers but he had a job to do. They should have done more with him.
The music at 3:00 is so damn good
Chris Evans was born to play Captain America.
Robert Downey Jr was born to play Iron Man.
Henry Cavill was born to play Superman.
Imagine, ploting against a guy with such amazing skills, and when the moment comes and you have boxed him in, and you come to find out that not only he got all figure it out but he still gives the chance to anyone leave the scene, even though he's only one!!
By my perception of it, I would' have jump out of that elevator in a second 😂😂😂
The best of all the Marvel movies.
They need to bring Cap/Steve Rogers/Chris Evans back man lol. He is too cool.
“Does anyone want to get out?”
Hydra goon: “I have to go… iron my dog and pick up my coat from the vet. See you later!” (runs away very fast)
When marvel movies weren’t comedies …. Masterpiece
That landing on the floor felt personal.
Winter Soldier was peak MCU.
One of the best scenes from one of the best comic movies of all time.
Hail Hydra
I fucking love that Zoolander turn he does when he cuts the cables. Looks so stupid it's cool and the physics check out. Nice little detail.
This is easily one of the most replayed scenes on UA-cam in the entire MCU.
Hulk smashing Loki in the first Avengers movie is a really good one as well, super hilarious.
“I am a god and I will not be bullied by…”
*Proceeds to get obliterated*
Im Endgame Captain America already knew those guys are Hydra agents
No shit, Sherlock!
@@athullal7438 No need to be a dick about it
"Hang Glider... er, ah Hail Hydra."
This movie will always have my favorite fight scenes with this one topping the list.
God…didn’t know a more perfect captain America movie could be created
Glad I got to see this in theaters
I remember thinking, "He's about to ask if they played the PowerBar last night." 😅
Daaaannng…this movie still rocks after 10 years 🤯
Back when Marvel still loved us
Imagine being that one guy who steps out after Cap asks the question
This was peak MCU, and peak comic movies in general. Never was beat.
This is one of the best scenes of the entire MCU. ❤
The best marvel movie of all time.❤
Cap after waking up from being frozen 70 years later: 0:47
THis is one of the best scenes in the MCU.
Back when Marvel movies were great!
Call me crazy but out of all the marvel movies, winter soldier is my favorite. Cap moves like a superhero should move.
CHRIS EVANS played captain America extremely well , might not like his political stance but he is a great Captain 🇺🇸.
Cap didn't have to fall all that way down...he could have just yelled,"Flame on!!" and he could have flown away.
That final fall was probably a taste of what it was like to block the Hulk or Thor.
When Marvel films were good never been the same since Endgame 😢
Now that was a reverse jumping!!!!
Still the best MCU movie to date.
Best MCU movie... ever!
I love this clip ...love this movie...but just once I wish that nerd guy from the end had accidentally gotten on this elevator too just so he could have said, "you know what...yeah...id like to get out."
In the comic books in a similar situation Cap put the shield under his feet and landed upright.
Ugh i hope the mcu can find it's way back to this level someday
"Anyone wanna leave?"
Hell yeah im scary as fck today G
I love how he just knew!!!!!
Greatest Cap scene ever
Imagine actually being that one guy who was genuinely using the elevator.
I remember seeing this in the theater and thinking "man for a bunch of trained soldiers and spies they had a lot of fuckin' tells"
This was no contest, Cap took out half his attackers with one hand out of commission for half of this fight.
Best scene for cap's superpower that he can find the fake reality
Better than Civil war, infinity and endgame. The best MCU movie ever made
Not a perfect soldier, but a good man…
I love this scene lol
My favorite scene in this movie.
Easy the best Marvel movie.
Cap + Vibranium = win
Who else misses when the MCU was actually good
No way in hell, big dude was able to hold down cap for that long.
Everytime i see chris. I see human torch. Lol
Loved this movie
When there’s no way out you find a way out
To have the balls and be the 1st to attack cap!🤣
The most unrealistic thing about this scene is the voice recognition. If it's anything like real voice recognition it should be total disobedience.
"Records"
Did you mean... Rooftop?
No Records
Got it, Basement level confirmed.
When We The People let's the government know who's in charge ....This scene is symbolic.
1 word 🔥
Best scene in mcu history 😂
When Marvel movies were great
I bought a shirt with the same design as cap
Looked cool
After wearing it I realized the does not come with buff chest and my large belly does not help a bit 😅
Why he stare so hard at the brother?😂
Back when Marvel made a few rad movies....
I like cap America
Too bad they didn't use Doom music.
Would anyone like to leave before you are forced to leave
The Hydra-within-SHIELD plot point hits a bit harder now as we have seen so much evidence of the justice system being weaponized in the USA since then. Prescient writers, or inside information, or something else?
Remember when Marvel used to make good movies?
I’ve always wondered: When Cap cuts the cables and the elevator falls, the emergency breaks kick in and when he forces the door open he finds more soldiers. How did they know he’d cut the cables and which floor the emergency breaks would stop at? Not a nitpick, I wanna know xD
Presumably it was easy to guess he'd cut the cables to try to escape and they could correctly estimate based on how the elevator worked when the emergency brakes would kick in and what floor it would stop at.
PRIME CAP ❤❤❤
I wonder what this scene would look like if it was written by now days writers
He should have said hail hydra
He didnt know the cheat code at the time. 😅
He feels too normal here to have a one on one fight with a regular guy in an elevator or struggle to get his hand free when he fights Thanos by himself later on. Cap should have destroyed them without trying.
But in endgame the whole elevator scene was crushed 😐😐😑😑
They sent a group of maroons to take down Captain America. 😂 They should have read his file and watched the old war news footage before they tried.
Last decent MCU movie.
