as a support (ana) player, i feel that rein vs rein is some of the most fun in the game, its fun watching the reins try to outplay each other while trying to help enable my rein and shut theirs down, just everyone trying to outsmart each other

The game is more competitive and enjoyable to play with Rein in both teams instead of Hog and Orisa

It's so great when you get to see an honorable Rein duel, had one earlier this season when I was doing some off role to take my mind off support. We ended up losing because he timed his shatter so perfect and quicker when I went to drop my shield to do the same, had to tip my hat to the dude. We traded plays like that all game, my biggest fault as Rein would probably be my dumb charges when I think I can land a pin pick and it backfires on me which happened that game lol.

@@ThahnG413 nah, Flats is one of the best Rein mains out there. But in the last months he kinda "half-trolls" because hard-grinding on ranked is not worth anymore even tho he needs to keep creating content full-time.

OMG, how I love Rein vs Rein, especially when the other side switches to Rein to see if they can out-Rein you. With that said, its a symbiotic relationship with your teammates. You keep them alive, they keep you alive, and making space from corner to corner. Most of the time it's ego vs ego, and with Reins its best because its a close combat slug-fest.
In plat and lower rein duels have been pretty common since the new season started in my experience

Rien is such a well made hero. I mean, after they fixed all his shatter issues from ow1 release. He's not annoying to play against and that makes him fun for both teams
His pin is still janky as hell but everything else is top tier gameplay

Sometimes I feel like I forget how high level of a player flats is. Most of what I see him doing is just sort of fucking around in the practice range, or arcade. But then there are games like this...

Lucio is my favorite support to play but I don't always get to pick him since a lot of other sups fit comps way more.
When someone picks Rein, it means I get to play Lucio which is awesome.
Idk why but in low elos when I go rien my team goes zen mercy and when I go mercy the other support swaps to zen or lucio

Bro my team had a rein 1v1 in the middle of diamond comp match and everybody just watched and once my rein died we all started fighting shit was the best feeling every and they pushed it all the way to are spawn but we came back last second and won the game shit was so electric
Does swinging the hammer serve a purpose or is it more a force of habit type of thing
Hold space. If the enemy rein decides to step forward he's taking the first hit, which = more ult and slightly better odds of winning the rein duel. The hammer doesn't have to reload.

Anyone else notice this weird thing with Rein's charge where he'll be leaning way further to the right then normal? (example 8:50)
It's when you're turning, for example in that timestamp flats was turning right to pin the lucio which is why rein was leaning so heavily to the right

i really should be speeding more, but i kinda healbot lucio. at my rank not sure how much i can rely on the other their support.
Lucio's schtick is that you can speed and wallride out of trouble if need be. You can also go on missions like booping the enemy Widow and come back quickly if you're good enough. Lucio is a pretty self-reliant character because of his mobility.
metalysis just got clowned pretty badly by super in a video. questioning his t500 status and calling him a troll/sr provider. we rein mains know it can be tough game to game. happy to see he doesnt deserve the hate because he showed up for this game.
