    hey there!
I just tried this on an ibanez GSR200 and came to the conclusion that the output-jack wiring is different to your model.
Great video, good intention but you should specify on the model though, before telling all the dummies where exactly to put the wires ;)

Me rn. I have 6 ibanez basses. All active
I'm replacing the inputs in a prestegue ntb and a sr 400 2004 model. I have a 755 and an ergodyne 605 also. They all sound great. Super hot. All the range, but the prestegue is prob my fav. I can put 40-100 drop g standard and still better tone than my 5 strings w .125 + in A or B and they sound tight af. So.. Thanks for the vid

Didn’t work on my Ibanez soundgear 1200 premium. Must be wired differently. Shame.

It's an output jack, not an input jack. But good video otherwise. Wish you would've listed the part number for the jack.

why we have to conect the batery to the output jack?

I assume it's because dc electricity runs in a circle, and in order to complete the circuit, the current of the bass needs to run out, through the cord, and loop back through the amp, and back to the battery. I'm not 100% sure though, just trying to use my basic electricity knowledge and make sense of it.

Battery?? What battery is there in a regular electric bass guitar?
