How to make an easy Nether Portal trap in Minecraft 1.19- Trap Tutorials Ep. 1

- Hello! This is a simple tutorial for a redstone trap activated when another player enters into the overworld using a Nether Portal. There are 2 variants, one activated automatically and the other manually activated by whoever set the trap. I made this primarily for trapping on an SMP I play on. It should be very easily used on any server, whether you just want to prank your friends or if you're playing on a more competitive SMP. If you enjoyed, please subscribe!

The self activated one can sometimes be fully automatic if one of the members of the server is a complete moron who recognizes the trap but still stands on the pressure plate

Yooo bro this is sooo good but could u make one where the portal relights and you can use it again without having to rebuild it?
Interesting idea! I could probably do that. The only really tricky part would be transferring a flint and steel in and out of one of the dispensers because if I add a 3rd dispenser the whole thing would be quite a bit less secure, but even that shouldn’t be too hard.

Just wondering if the TNT is recognized as an entity and will get teleported back into the portal...?
or does the portal actually break when it is activated?
Sorry! Just saw this! The portal is broken by the water bucket. The TNT will not teleport to the other side

Gotcha. Thanks. My clan is being targeted by the rest of the server in our SMP right now over possible crimes we committed (Even though we aren't part of their civilization). Our group of 3 isn't gonna be able to stop like 20 of them, but the only way they can get to us is by nether portal, so this is great!
