Well, when Thriller was released, it was labelled as "Black Garbage" by the people, yes.....this comes straight from my parents who lived that era. It had huge sales and was probably even more hyped than Lemonade. And given the extreme racism of that time, it might be true that even the King Of Pop received hate for his success just like Bey is getting today, maybe double the hate, because what is hyped, automatically gets hate. idk and idc if Lemonade is good or bad, but it surely shows Beyoncé's vocal versatility.....and it is sad that even after showing so much talent in one album, she still receives hate. She wanted to be far more that just a regular artist that would've been forgotten in 15 years. She wanted to become a legend. And she worked HER ASS OFF to get there.
So yes, I was once a "hater" 'cause she was overrated to me to, but then I saw videos showing the preparation of her tours and I understood that she's there because she worked hard, and to me she fully deserves all the praises she gets. She deserves them all.
