Oregon | N. Santiam River

The Big Cliff Dam to Packsaddle section of the North Santiam River. Locals tend to call it the Niagara section. Flow was 1300 cfs.

For someone new to inflatable kayaking, what stretch on the N. Santiam can I easily float keeping it level 2 and below? Thank you. I live in Stayton.

@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 The Packsaddle section of the N. Santiam is very friendly class 3. I've done the section below Packsaddle a couple times when the water gets quite a bit higher. That section may be what you're looking for at normal flows.
