Maybe a bit late, but I feel you. Currently midst in the exams, madness is knocking on the door and somehow haven't yet gotten to the point where you start crying from being done with everything. Well...was studying and compass came... the only thing I could say before I started tearing up was "sh*t"
So a couple of years ago, I was listening to Compass and it gave me the idea of a pretty cool story. It would be about an autistic savant, who has an uncanny, almost unnatural sense of direction, who enlists into the military; most likely the army, but I haven't worked that out yet. This would take place in modern day btw. One of the missions he is sent on takes him and his squad into a deep jungle somewhere in South America. A combination of unfortunate mishaps and a magnetic storm renders all of their directional tools, including simple compasses, completely useless. The only thing they have to go on is a map and, of course, our protagonist, Colton Treo (Treo being Irish for the word direction, if I remember correctly...🤔). Long story short, they complete their mission and Colton is thus given the nickname/designation Compass. Please, tell me what you all think of this and if it would be a cool story. And feedback from those who are/were in the military would be highly appreciated! I hope everyone has/had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 😁🎄🎁🎆
Sounds good to me. Your protagonist would be considered a specialist. Not many have a gift for perfect direction. He would have to either take point( lead the group) or follow behind. Most specialists are protected heavily by a squad that they are assigned to. A squad size is anywhere from 8 to 12 people. I think. My memory is a little fuzzy from Army ROTC. Officer candidates go through training and part of thier training is to lead a unit during basic training. I hope that helps. The idea sounds awesome!

The sound quality is completely butchered in this video. Try 59:23 Northern Pastures for example. Play it on some good speakers or headphones and then compare it to the version in the Miracles album playlist on TSFH's official channel, the difference is night and day. Why listen here instead of directly on TSFH's official channel, that DOES have goed quality AND supports the artist directly? What is even the point of these kind of reuploads of reuploads?

To be fair, is one of their weakest albums. Only Compass and Stay actually stand out. The rest sounds like Ibiza-tier chill out.
