This isn't even remotely related to the video but I just want to point out that the UA-cam code for this video starts with "sky teen." Anyway, sweet lick, thanks!
i think this lick has more potential if you double the first left hand rather than the second as the second left can then be put on other toms or cymbals rather than being confined to the snare drum. Nice lick, man!
+jimibosmells1 It can go either way and obviously you can make any changes you like. If you stick it the way he does in the video, you could simply just move the first left hand onto a tom and have a completely different sound. Also making the second left a double would make it a 6 stroke roll, and I think there are enough licks around that use that so its nice to use something different.
A natural teacher and a great drummer. Nice job.
Not only lick of the Month but also teacher of the Month! Thanks
those are some fantastic sounding drums and they're fantasticly recorded

to b fair he has a Tom hanging on the left as do I. one can also invert leads N flam drag N rough this. it's so slick. I needed a good 12 note lick
+sevenfacecomplex yeah i guess it does work good in that situation. Still a great lick either way!

+jimibosmells1 I like the way that feels... Starting with a RLL is the first half of a 6 stroke roll, which my muscle memory already knows.. LOL
Can this triplet fill translate into the fills in the start of Good Times Bad Times by Led Zeppelin??
