Such a useful subject Amanda, please do a part two!! You're brilliant! ❤
Thanks for a great video! If there’s a part 2, can you show how to fix a torn lace front? Thanks.
This was uber helpful. I learnt loads as its a new world to me. Thank you.❤
Thank you, Amanda! 😃 Love all of your tips and tricks - you are just so comfortable in your wigs (I hope to feel this confident someday). You can throw anything on, make it look amazing - I really appreciate the time it takes to make these videos because they are really so helpful! Have an awesome rest of your day! 🌸💮🌸
EXCELLENT video 👏👏👏👏
Thank you so very much for taking the time to share your expertise with us all, very much appreciated 😊
You are great at wearing wigs plus teaching us how to wear them. I have some small bald spots on top so I am trying to find the right topper in Salt & Pepper color. Help is appreciated.
Great tips, Amanda. Thank you! And the video is so much fun to watch.
Very helpful! Waiting for my first Chiquel order to arrive. I’ll be an expert when my girls get here ☺
@@chiquelwigs Oh, goodness 🤭 Where do I start? Seven orders and 10 wigs later [well, 3 are on the way] I have discovered that I am most confident/less worried about 'wig' issues with HAND TIED caps. More specifically, ear to ear lace front. My favorite so far is Juliane Lite [petite] BUT have only worn her out once. I'm still getting used to her LOVELY curls. I have most worn Alpha Blend. I have 2 McQueens & one Tea Leaf Layer on the way 🥰
I recently lost most of the hair on my crown after a major surgery (aka telogen effluvium - not a vocabulary term I’d ever hoped to become familiar with!) and you have been saving my life with your reviews and tips and cheerful attitude because - honestly - I thought I would go insane trying to get used to wigs / finding ones that looked reasonably natural on me since my bio hair is very thin and fine. Thank you 🙏🏼
Good information! Thank you
Great tips! Thank you ❤
Hello Amanda! for those of us that have a widow's peak... do you have any suggestions on how to make it blend with a wig? I buy rooted colors and that seems to help a little but sometimes it is still kind of obvious. Other than shaving it off, I'm at a loss LOL
Love your videos. If you make a part 2 what can you put on your wig to give it a little luster?
You really are so encouraging! I only have one wig but don't wear it because the bangs are so heavy that they look fake to me. Any ideas?
Thin the bangs. I just did this with a wig a few days ago because I hated the heavy bangs. I love the wig now after thinning them.
This is great i have just bought a new wig with middle parting and it's long i would like to shorten the front to sweep back at the sides but don't know the best way to cut it This video was so helpful Ty hank you xx❤
I recommend taking it to your stylist to cut a fringe. I do have a video here in this channel that shows how I cut bangs into my wavy day.
You can see the video I did cutting bangs here: ua-cam.com/video/eBK5v7CkMS8/v-deo.htmlsi=nZVKb54UaLGu3qOS
I have a Raquel Welch wig, i absolutely love the style and lace front hair line but i never wear it because the heat friendly fibres tangle and knot so much, i would have to comb it every 10 mins to keep the fibres separated
Maybe it’s time for some heat to help seal the ends. Have you added heat to it yet? ❤
Yes I have to, I don't have a choice, I am thinking of cutting it in a bob, maybe it won't tangle as bad or at least so quickly, what do you think?
✌️❤️✌️
Thanks for the tips.
Why do the long pieces look so thin and very stringy. Can you recommend one, please?
Hi Amanda! I received my first ever wig,,,Belle Tress Peppermint Hand Tied in Butterbeer Blonde. I do like it,,,however the rooting seems sooooo dark to me, Is there any way i can make the rooting appear less...well almost black to me? Thank you!!
Question....when you use the clip to put the hair in an up-do, what are you clipping it to? Just the hair or are you grabbing some of the cap? I'm afraid of ruining the cap or that the clip won't hold if just on the hair only. Great video, Amanda! I like that most of my issues are in this one video and i can save it for future reference!
If I have wig that’s wefted, I just clip it right into the wefts which works great to also help secure the wig more.
I grab hold of the wefting if it’s a wefted cap. 🥰 I find it helps pull the cap even tighter and it helps the claw stay in place as well!❤
Im going to ask a really dumb question. Ive watched you and others for some time now. I hear you guys talking about permateze. What is permateze?
That is not a dumb question at all!
I have a whole video on this. ❤take a look!

Belle stress has a shiny PU strip between the wig & lace !
How do you disguise the shine?
I am one who has a flat backed head, so the headbands, head caps and such do not stay on. They slip up from the back and eventually the front slips back. If I do not use one, the wigs do the same thing. My bio-hair is so fine, combs won’t stay in. I’m about to give up - any advice please? (I tried the wig glue in the front.)
If ur bio hair is long enough, I create a tiny pony tail/bun with thin rubber band or small elastic at the base of my head. It holds my wig from slipping up. Then I use 'It Stays " roll on glue(water soluble) at my forehead hairline about 1-2 inch wide. My wig stays on great. I haven't used got2be, but it is much cheaper than my roll on glue.
If ur bio hair isn't long enough, sew in a non slip clip, or use the glue at the base of your head to stick to the fleece nape.
My cousin just uses a couple of bobby pins and places them downward in the back of the grip below the occipital bone. She has bio hair so the grip and hair are clipped together with the bobby pins.
Bulkiness in the cap.
So helpful! You crack me up too…especially the guy peeking through the wall 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
