New to the game. Thought I would see what I need to hunt Canada Goose. What better place than a HooCairs video. It was very informative. But I guess I won't hunt Goose. After checking the store to see what the gear would cost, pretty much ruled out Goose. But thanks for the video, you do a good job in explaining the game.
Cool idea for the video series, restarted playing Hunter around Christmas and loving it again! Found the Full Throttle Mission a bit of a challenge with the 20ga and only having a handful of decoy's been thinking about the flag but now after watching it will be on my to purchase list along with some more decoy's. thanks for the video

You should watch the duck video. I am running around in the blind while calling to demonstrate that your stance does not matter and you cannot spook them. Ducks are actually breaking off while I do that. It is the same with geese. Kneeling does not improve anything. I have even tried laying down and nothing changes. ;-)
24 decoys give you the best attraction. If you add a caller the chances for them to come are even higher. Best is 24 decoys, a caller and a flag lure in multiplayer mode. Before you invest more into decoys, get a long range caller or flag lure (easier to use).
Fall field camo BLIND or fall field camo CLOTHES? Fall field camo clothes make sense if you hunt in an open field. I would go for a ground blind if you don't have it already. I don't remember what I said in the video but by experience so far you have slightly better chances if you duck or lay flat in the ground blind when flocks arrive. In that case you don't need any camo clotes at all. The 20 GA shotguns are a bit week for the geese but have three quick shots. An alternative might be a side by side or over and under shotgun with two fast shots, but with more power. If your decision is between the blind and the 20GA, I would definitely go for the blind. You won't get many geese without a blind. You can try a ground blind and jump out for the shooting though. :-) What shotguns do you have so far?
I really like your videos mate, keep up the excellent work. I have a question for you though after searching around for an answer in the forums. It seems to me that if I haven't hunted geese for a few days, I seem to get a lot spawn in my area over my spread. If I hunt an area and harvest around 20-30 geese, exit the hunt and start a new game, I don't seem to get many spawn in. Do the geese need a time period before I get good spawns again? Or is it just coincidence?
+Beano Glad you like the videos. I believe what happens with the geese is the same as with reindeer. The game calculates migration routes and then reuses them throughout the game, but I am not 100% sure. Someone in the forum said that once you find a reindeer entrance location, you will see them come in there throughout the rest of the hunt. I haven't verified this though. With geese and ducks I get many sometimes and few the next time. If I have a bad load I restart. Overall the distribution is not too bad though I think.

Danke sehr. Fürs Rentier sind echt schon ein paar Anfragen eingegangen. Da muss ich mal drüber nachdenken.

what happens to me is that the geese ignore me i have seen 10 groups so far and they all ignored me

Yeah, the decoys are worth investing in if you do a lot of waterfowling.
do you really need that many decoys ? because im getting no luck with just one lol im also missing a caller so that could be a reason too
