The Teskey Brothers are an Australian blues rock band from Melbourne, named after the two brothers who formed the group in 2008: Josh Teskey (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Sam Teskey (lead guitar). The band also includes Brendon Love (bass guitar) and Liam Gough (drums). In 2019 they signed with Glassnote Records and Ivy League Records. They have released two albums, Half Mile Harvest (2017) and Run Home Slow (2019). At the 2019 ARIA Music Awards, The Teskey Brothers were nominated for seven awards. They won three categories for the album, Run Home Slow, Best Group, Best Blues and Roots Album and Engineer of the Year (Sam Teskey). Peace out.

Waving the Aussie flag proudly 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 they are just outstanding ‼️❤️❤️❤️
Your absolute joy when listening to great music keeps me watching your channel!!
My grandfather learnt to play the harmonica from the Americans during the war, he passed before I was born, but he had taught my grandmother to play and she was killer. I'm sad that I never learnt to play, but it certainly gave us a multigenerational appreciation for the Blues. 💙
Oh I hope they get to see your 'reaction' Dominic.....I will post it on their UA-cam channel....I definately could hear Otis Reading in 'Rain' and yes this is such an awesome band....Can't wait to see more from them here.
I’m so fortunate to have seen them live and they are amazing

So glad to see that you are continuing to explore the wonderful talent of the Australian Teskey Brothers. I told you they were fantastic!
Your smile through this is everything Nick! Made me day ❤️
Blues is such a wonderful sound, just love this 💕💕
Gotta LOVE the brothers! All of em.
Mate I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I'm a big blues fan and I remember the first day I heard Teskey brothers. I was working as a chef in a bakery so I'm starting at 2am, I'm hungover(maybe still drunk) and half asleep in the back of an Uber and hes playing "pain and misery" and I just woke up. I asked him, what's this? he says "The Teskey Brother's, a bunch of tradies(trade qualified workers, electricians, carpenters ect.) from Victoria. Anyway we pull up to my work maybe 5 minutes before I start and he goes "you have to hear this one". I sat there with him for the next 20mins listening to this album.
The sound is brilliant, but the fact it came out of Victoria, Australia just blows my mind. Their version of "jealous guy" by John Lennon is 1 of the best covers I've ever heard and that includes Nirvana covering David Bowie's "The Man who sold the world" and Hendrix doing Bob Dylan's "all along the watchtower".
🔥🔥🔥
they remind me of that middle eastern band, the wanton bishops
👍
They were down under on my island 🏝 a small island Phillip island where the Hemsworths come from. I heard it was awesome. Listen to missy Higgins she is awesome also.
I love the Teskey brothers
Another amazing pair of brothers from Melbourne are The Pierce Brothers. Check them out..
Down south alright, just north of Melbourne.
Man I wanna hear you sing a song
I guess Melbourne is "down south" in Australia
You can't get any more "down south" than Australia mate.
Harmonica playing is not Something That you see a lot of anymore. Except In country music and it is not as easy as it looks. I can't think of the gentleman's name But Chris Stapleton uses him sometimes And he has played with Willie Nelson for 40 some years. I can't think Of his name sorry I know hes from Dallas Texas I believe.❤❤❤❤❤
The Teskey Brothers just dropped North America tour dates. Do yourself a favour
ABSOLUTELY! People talk about them having a Motown sound but they are heavily Memphis Blues influenced… STAX.
