Just the vid i needed, been looking for a solid iem for a good price for a while and spent a long time looking thru the quest for the best playlist, but after this ill definitely be getting the 7hz sonus. love the reviews and the emphasis on gaming thank you
Requesting again to include Koss KSC75 in the next budget IEM roundup. No shade to $100 IEMs but I feel there's fierce competition around under $50 price range at this moment.
@rokiesensei Have you seen the KSC75? It's not the 80s looking "kewl" Porta Pro. It's just a driver with an ear hook lol. There's nothing touching the head with that thing.
it's ugly and old tbh. what's the point of performance if it's ugly & cumbersome (imo)
@@ryanreviews8566 *le sigh* young people these days only want the shiny new things. I won't refute its aesthetic appeal but how is it cumbersome? It's the best of both worlds. It doesn't violate your ears like IEMs and doesn't give you headphone dents (LMAO) on your head and hair.
I’m interested in the budget headphones series too.
Only problem with it is the bass roll off. Still should be great for gaming
Hey fresh hope I'm not bothering you but I'm looking for a iem that won't hurt my ear since I have small ears and have been looking at the simgotes200 and moondrop lan. Which one would be more suitable for my ears? Considering they are the same price and look small.
The lan, Dunu kima, Em6l, seekreal dawn pro are all smaller options imo
@@FreshReviewsYT Right on, bought the lan. Thank you for making awesome content and responding!
@@SwizzPrime Hi, How is it preforming till now, and is it good for gaming and hear and pinpoint footsteps and watching entertaining things (UA-cam ,Story Games ,etc)
and is it Comfortable and did you have any moisture problem with it
@@sweedxd7965 I enjoyed them quite a bit and found them to be pretty good for gaming but now I use the truthear red zero
I would still recommend the lans!
Looking forward to the additional testing for the Melody. I do hope it crosses into the Wallhack list!
I've been interested in the Kima for its warmness and immersion, do you think the Sonus (or any on the budget list) holds up in that regard?
Yes
Would you be interested in reviewing the Sony MDR-MV1 Open Back Headphones?
I purchased a pair of the Truthear X ceo cal zero red. Turns out my ears are smaller than I figured.
What IEM would you recommend for a smaller ear? I primarily play warzone!
The Em6l might work, seekreal Dawn pro, moondrop lan, Dunu kima
How does the Melody compare to the Dioko in terms of Soundstage?
Unfortunately it’s been quite awhile since I’ve tested the dioko I can’t quite recall
Which IEM would you recommend me for any FPS game? I have the Kiwi orchestra lite and love the sound, but would like something better, specifically in the soundstage/vertical/depth and imaging department.
Check my description and wh tier list
@FreshReviewsYT, how big is the gap in audio between the Monarch MK3 and the Yanyin cannon 2?
I was also thinking of going with 64 Audio A12T, but that price is steep.
@@MaeloGSXR750 for gaming ONLY. Not large. I prefer the mk3 for music however.
@FreshReviewsYT, thank you! Keep up the great work. 🙌🏽
The Melodys sound off when jacked straight into my PC motherboard but my other iems dont have this issue (blessing 2 and shuoer s12s). Must be a power delivery issue or something else with the drivers
Correct. Power delivery
Planars benefit greatly from really good power sources
can you do Tangzu Fudu review?
I have
How does the Sonu compare to the simgot em6l?
Still 1 for budget wall hacks
Em6l still 1
Please tell me someone what to use lpcm dtsx or dolby atmos for apex legends ps5 sennheiser hd560s fosi k5 pro... I dont fell differences...feels like pcm best for competitive..becouse its all about competitive... 😂😢😂😅😂😅😂
I don’t play on the ps5, but I use stereo. I don’t use fake surround sound
@@FreshReviewsYT thnx man for answer :) by the way wery nice videos you make.me and my friend we watch alot.i like your mouse headphones reviews.becouse of you I have hd560s ! :D and because of you I have iems truethear zero.. blue ones...I can't remember the exact name anymore .. :D for "gaming" but it's better for music then gaming. And Sennheiser hd560s with fosi k5 pro good budget friendly. Headphone and DAC I pic together for 235euros who can beat that ?
Hey, I love your content a lot, great to have someone that is genuinely interested and not just reviewing for sponsors.
I'm very new to med-high end audio solutions and recently ordered myself the HarmonicDyne Zeus Elite, for gaming and music use. But I was wondering about which AMP/DAC would fit best in my scenario? I don't know much about audio tuning and which settings to use etc. is it ok to just use the default settings that come with the AMP/DAC?
I've taken a look at these so far that are in my price range: ifi zen dac v2 (sold out everywhere), Topping DX3 Pro+ (would need adapter), FiiO K5Pro (would need adapter). These are in my price range, but budget is not really a problem, I just don't want to spend any more than what's necessary. Would you say these are good enough? And are there any AMP/DAC's that have a 4.4mm or XLR output so that I can plug the Zeus Elite directly into the AMP/DAC? Or should I just buy an adapter, and if so, any recommendations?
Do you have any problems with Sonus when a chaotic moment in game happens?
I discuss everything about my thoughts in the video.
Looking for an iem to buy is so stressful with how many options there are and peoples opinions differing so much I’m just gonna get the 7hz sonus
you're always nailing it with the content. I've been using the QKZ x HBB by your recommendation and my only gripe has been the cable being a bit stiff around the ear.
which do you consider the most comfortable, the Sonus or the Truthear x Crin Zero? when looking at product photos it looks like the Zero have longer nozzles than the Sonus, which to me makes the Sonus look more compfortable.
The sonus is probably more comfortable for most
thanks man!@@FreshReviewsYT
hows sonus compared to ew200? in gaming
i would love to know about this too
Which would you recommend for valorant? QKZ X HBB, truthear zero blue or Sonus?
Hi! What IEMS would you say have the closest sound profile to the DT 900s? I enjoy the sound but they are just uncomfortable for me
the drivers to create the sound and how the sound is delivered and processed you won’t have the same or even close of an experience. kind of like how an old flip phone works and the iphone 15 way different on how they work and how you use it and even what’s inside to make it work. my advice to see if you like IEMs and the experience in the first place would be to buy cheap but good IEM like the moondrop chu they are 20 bucks on amazon but very solid i have $400 iems and i still use the chu. i guess you can find a frequency response chart that compares or if not similar to the DT990s but still wont ever be the same or similar because how the sound is received you have to find out what you like about the sound for example they are bass heavy for that id recommend the crinical red with the adapter but then i also don’t like how they fit they aren’t comfortable to ME but might be for YOU
so yea a bunch of nuance that really depend on you and finding something you like
Probably the xenns top or orchestra lite.
Thank you. Seriously. I bought the Sonus and the Qkz Hbb you reviewed. $50 and $10 respectively.
Great IEMs for the price
I hope you’ll review some more headphones soon.
The SJY Umi look really nice. Planar magnetics for 499 and leightweight. Damn if those are good for gaming those would be really interesting
for deeper fit maybe try using the spinfit W1 since it looks to be a longer eartip
Hey what happened to the Corsair M75 Air review? I was gonna watch that but it seems like you took it down... Anything happen?
I accidentally forgot to add a segment into the review. It will be reposted soon
how much different between Simgot EM6L and turthear zero in term of FPS game does it worth 50$ to upgrade?
Yes. Only get the Zeroes if your budget is strictly 50$. EM6l is much better, but i recommend the Spinfit W1 tips to tame the somewhat sharp treble.
on my 7hz Sonus the bass seems none existent. And youtube videos sound like a old radio
Sounds like ya got a bad unit or your driving them with a toaster oven
Great Vid! Sad to hear the melody wasnt that great for gaming, I had high hopes for it, now just waiting for your truthear nova review lol, cheers!
The Nova is very close to the kiwi ears orchestra lite in price. So I am guessing for most people, if you have 150, you have a little more for the much better Kiwi!:o And the Simgot EM6L is priced a lot better than the Nova, and is apparently better for gaming(for the small amount of reviews that are out there).
@@fakedcastle5950150 and 250 is not very close
@@fakedcastle5950 Where I live, the EM6L and Truthear Nova are just 30$ apart. The Orchestra Lite is 50$ more than the Nova.
any chance you could do a comparison of the 7hz Sonus and the KZ ZS10 PRO X, is the Sonus an big upgrade or i shouldn't bother ?
The zs10 is garbage
@@FreshReviewsYT got them for 22$ i think, next week they will arrive, if i dont like will give as present to someone and order Sonus :)
hoping for a review for the upcoming Truthear Nova.
Yesssss. The sonus is surprisingly good on its imaging. Used them while playing COD and was blown away by how they performed. I could locate people relatively easy. Footsteps and positions were clear and spot on. I didnt think they would at first cause they come across kinda flat on first impressions but while theyre not the most energetic set of iems, theyre really good on technical performance. Kind of a niche tuning for some people though. May come across as boring
Were u using loudness eq though?
@@Yumadlol no
@@LuciferArc1can u try them with loudness eq and let me know?
How do they preform vs the crin zero for cod?
@PerryH4H4 better. Sonus is pin point.
How is the 7hz sonus compared to the Truthhear x Crinacle Red or Blue
It’s warm but quite good
Just ordered the 7hz sonus after watching your review....
i am using Blon bl03 atm hope the Sonus is going to be a big upgrade for me...
thanks for your efforts man, you are the only IEM reviewer who gives the exact info what gamers want..👍
Thanks
how is it! do give me your impressions, im thinking of buying this too, and btw are these good for music too?
hey, would like a quick review from u please. Im thinking of upgrading my iem from BL03 too!
Great video fresh reviews. The sonus really looks.interesting.
which would be better for gaming in something like Rainbow 6 Siege? Truthear crinacle reds or the 7Hz Sonus? I'm looking for something where I can tell what material they're on, if they're reloading and where they are and the sonus' seems to be the correct option but please let me know.
What would you pick for the ultimate competitive audio device, HD800 or thieaudio monarch mk3 iem?
My audio 64 volur is my personal favorite right now. The he1000se is also something I’d pick over the 800
@@FreshReviewsYT how would you compare 1000se to 800s? I’ve heard the 800, but not the 1000se
I absolutely love the Sonus for gaming and music. Honestly probably best all rounder on the market. For me it’s like super underrated.
These or the zero red?
Any reccs below $25? Most on the budget list now are 50 and above
And is the QKZ x HBB still relevant?
the 7hz sonus looks so good!
Qkz hbb still relevant
@MayankJairaj The KZ Krila has close enough to the same performance as the Sonus for a 1/3 the price, check it out...
I really feel like you should just save up some more money and get something like the truthear crin zero. I had the qkz (the left driver died literally within a few days of usage) and while alright for the price for gaming it's also not great either. The crin zero I still have which are a decent step up for music and gaming whilst also not costing much more but I don't personally use them much anymore because I have a higher end set (kiwi orchestra lite). These are just my opinions on iems I've also personally owned (because of Fresh) lol I'm by no means an expert or anything.
@@WyattOShea i already own the zero, u can chk previous comments I have them since a yr or so
I was asking coz a lot of people on the subreddit ask for cheap reccs below 20
I also have the qkz hbb, mine developed the same issue but on the right side, also the wire started corroding its all green from the inside
IMO the difference between the qkz and the zero is huge
but the problem at that price is - people start recommending garbage to others like 7hz salnotes zero which is good for music but really bad for gaming, I've tried them and even fresh has done a review of them. Or the KZ iems, they are all mid I have tried a lot of them.
i guess if u own multiple items from Freshs list u can clearly tell the difference, so I personally was thinking of upgrading to something from his MidFi or money-no-bar list. So how much is the difference in ur opinion between the orchestra lite and Truthear Zero?
@@FreshReviewsYT great thanks I was askin for people on the gaming sub, weird that people recc the 7hz salnotes zero
waiting for ur year-end quest for the best vid!
stuck choosing between Simgot EM6L and Zero Red
Same. Did you end deciding which to get?
shipping to my country is the same for both iems. I'm thinking of starting with zero red.
I'm currently using the KZ ZS10 Pro.@@usmankhalid990
How do the Zeus Elite compare to the Zeus? You originally reviewed the Zeus and I wasn’t sure you circled back for the Elite. I have tons of cans, HD800S, T1, and on and on but the Zeus have been the best for gaming all around and I’ve been running them forever. Are the Elite better?
If possible, can you please review Austrian Audio Hi-X60 closed-back?
Hi, what cable can you recommend for budget iem?
Tripowin Zonie
@@FreshReviewsYT thank you
Hey, I've never used iems, and am looking to get one for both music and gaming, settled on Truthear x Crin Zero : Red and ksc75, if possible, could you do a review on ksc75 (and maybe compare it with zero : red since they are similar in price)? any help/insight is appreciated, thanks :)
Are you going to test the truthear nova
Yea
Just got the Truthear x Crinacle Zero OG’s for comp gaming, and they’re a little quiet. I seen you say onboard audio is likely the issue, do you have a budget DAC you recommend for them?
Topping dx3 pro +
appreciate the work!
Im interested in the Linsoul Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite but im new to IEMs and i dont know what parts do i need to buy to get the best out of them, do i need a blaster soundcard? DAC/AMP? or i can just plug it directly to my PC and it'll work?
Any recommendation for a Basslover also allrounder for all genres under 100 or near 100?
@FreshReviewsYT, would you recommend Raptgo Hook X HBB over the original Hook X solely for gaming? I bought the original one, but you seem to be using the HBB one for your videos. Does it provide any advantages over the original one?
which iem you will recommended for warm tuning for gaming in budget wallhack tier list ?
Let's go bb 😤😤😤
How do these compare to the Quartet? I have the opportunity to get both for the price of one (11.11 sales) and was wondering if both were worth getting?
I like the quartet as an all rounder that’s Also good for gaming. I think the sonus wins slightly for gaming
Truthear zero og vs 7hz for apex?
Zero og
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks for the replying on a short btw,I've heard he og has dual dynamic drivers and some audiophiles say that a DAC might be necessary for the full use of og, do you think someone who just wants to hear some footsteps on apex might need a DAC to survive?
How does 7hz Sonus compare to Ew 200 and Truthear Red? All 3 are at same price for me. I want to choose 1 as my budget is 55$.
Edit: I've 7hz zero and I like it's sound signature.
You found the answer?
Hi Fresh, thanks for all the reviews, I'm on a binge on all your videos, I own Blon BL03s which I like for music but playing a lot of Apex I have a hard time telling where are the enemies vertically (people above me in the multiple stories building in fragment and I think they're below) or if they're close or far, do you think the VKZ x HBB iems would already be a step up for me or I should go directly for the Truthear Zero? thank you!
Go for the zeros. Treat yourself. But yes, even the hbb is better
hi fresh, love your review to find the best iem. can you include letshuer s12 pro in one of your videos? I'd love to hear your perspective on that in terms of gaming and music. thank you.
Gaming they’re meh. Music pretty solid for the $
Great vid as always!
debating on the Orchestra Lite or aful 8 which is good is there a major diffrence?
They’re both great and on the list.
Thoughts on the SIMGOT EA1000?
One nozzle out of the three performs quite well. I think will be certified, but more likely than not fall around a b-
For music, you choose sonus or melody ?
is the wall hack tier list in order of your preference?
Yes
can review mest mk3?
when you say the kiwi ears quartet are best all rounder what do you mean by that please
Build. Comfort. Design. Decent enough for gaming and great for music
would you say then you prefer the truthear crin over the quartet for gaming alone?@@FreshReviewsYT
Now do the Truthear Nova please.
Coming this weekend possibly
have you already tried the truthear nova´s? im thinking of getting them rn or go with zero reds
I have not yet.
@@FreshReviewsYT would you still recommend th em6l for valorant/fortnite or is there smth better for a similar/lower price ?
@@H0ffnungsv0ll EM6L is solid. It's great for all PvP. It's good for immersive games too provided it's not too metal bangy, like boomer shooters, DOOM etc.
Are you going to be reviewing the sony inzone gaming buds
Haven’t checked into it yet
@FreshReviewsYT They look promising imo
I bought the Sonus last week but I think I'm going to end up trying to send them back as the performance from the KZ Krila is near enough the same for a 1/3 the price! Still gonna try to do a little more A/Bing but so far everytime I've tried to test the Sonus I've just ended up back on the Krila for the session...
I think you just prefer the Krila's tuning over Sonus's. The difference with the more expensive sets is their technicalities. Like layering and imaging. Imaging is the accuracy of where the sounds are coming from. But what you'd instantly notice is layering, when you play something like a Battlefield game or Overwatch where the game is very busy sonically. When so many things are going on at once, the cheaper 20$ sets plummet, not capable of maintaining its clarity and consistency. It becomes muddy. Whereas the more expensive sets maintain this level of clarity. The higher up you go, more clarity is retained, unless it's an overpriced set. If you're only playing CS/Valorant, chances are you'd prefer the Krila all day simply because you like how it is tuned.
@@zerotactix5739 Have you used the krila?
Wish I knew where you stood on the Sennheiser HD 660s in comparison to the rest of your lineup. Finding reviews is tough because no one talks about how headphones sound from a competitive FPS standpoint point.
I don’t like the 660s for gaming
Hey Fresh, what iems u would recommend for single player games? My budget can be up to mid tier list 🤔
There is a list in description. Iems from wall hack tier list will be as good for a single player games.
