Want to take this opportunity to note The Simpsons Game is the only game I know of that satirizes the video game industry and I wish there were more that did. Like, not satirizing games (though it does that too), but the companies that make them. The fact that it came from EA of all companies is spectacularly ironic and might explain why they've just hoarded the Simpsons license ever since.
I honestly wish there was a game (doesn't even have to be Simpsons-related) that just completely opens fire on the entire gaming space, especially given how much more ammo to work with there's been since then

Dude, seeing these cutscenes again gave me a burst of nostalgia. I remember playing this game all the time as a kid solely because of the cutscenes looking just like the actual show! I like to believe that this game was what pushed me to become a digital animator.
