This video is a powerful reminder of the importance of standing up against discrimination, no matter where it occurs. The way this woman handled the situation with grace and authority is truly inspiring. It’s shocking to see how prejudices can still manifest in such blatant ways, even in settings where success and achievement should speak for themselves. Kudos to her for flipping the narrative and demanding the respect she rightfully deserves. Let’s hope stories like these encourage more awareness and accountability.

Your comment perfectly captures the essence of the video. It’s both a heartfelt acknowledgment of the woman’s strength and a compelling call for change. By highlighting her grace and authority, you not only celebrate her courage but also underline the harsh reality of discrimination that persists even in spaces of merit. Your words resonate deeply, especially when you emphasize the need for awareness and accountability. It’s inspiring to see how you’ve turned a moment of injustice into a rallying cry for respect and equality. Truly a beautifully written reflection on such a critical issue.

Why? Would she say not to fire him instead of saying he needs to be fired. We have got to stop allowing racist people to get away with incidents that deserve people held accountable for their actions that's why those types of people get away with their racism because we want stand up for right. If it was a black security officer he would have been fired on the spot.

Back in the 1960s something similar happened at a public facility in Kansas City. My mother "failed" to understand why discriminating against people with dark skin should concern her... until the two of us were refused entrance to an exclusive restaurant because we weren't accompanied by an adult MALE.
Discrimination against anyone based on anything but the quality of their character is a vile disease -- and, like every disease -- will quickly become ugly and spread out of control.

Racial profiling should be illegal. RACISM in all forms should be a crime. I am 57 and I am white my mom raised me to never be racist. I do have family members who are black. My aunt who is black used to take me shopping in very high end stores. I was about 10yrs old and while shopping a white crazy lady approached me and demanded I get away from the black woman who kidnapped me. Yes there were Crazy KAREN s 47 yrs ago. I told the crazy lady that she needed to get her crazy hands off of my person. And yelled for the very nice black Security guard. Told him what was happening, he called the police and they asked if I n my aunt wanted to press charges against that crazy woman. I said yes because I already had bruises forming on my skin. That was the day I learned what racism really is. I hated how it felt, and how my Aunt felt. If only people could understand that colored people are no different than white people especially internally. We all have red blood. But what racism is really is just hating someone who has a different color skin than others. It's so pointless, and useless. And so very sad.

The security person was the tip of an iceberg. Racism is systemic and is deeply ingrained in the White people right up to the White House today. What can be done! This story reveals the heart of America and th chickens have come home to roost. I am a professional Black Women that also have to remain stoic and intellectually peaceful when facing the DNA of racism in this country. But I learned to call it out and take it to a higher authority .
The earth grounds are SOAKED WITH THE BLOOD OF AFRICAN AMERICANS FOR OVER 400 YEARS. I live in Queens NY. The schools I went to were integrated as well as the colleges and theological seminaries I graduated from. Before I sent my 3 sons off to Universities in other states , I talked and teach them about America’s brand of RACISM and how to handle it peacefully maintaining their dignity. I kept my 4th child, my daughter in NYC. She herself did not want to deal with Racism. She is my SUMMA CUM LARDE FROM 3 different universities. I didn’t want Racism to hinder her. My parents are from Alabama and moved northward because of RACISM and became high achieving individuals despite the color of their skin . I predict things will get worst for minorities because White People put a RACIST BAKE IN THE WHITE HOUSE WHOSE PEOPLE ORIGINATED FROM BAVARIA WHERE NAZISM WHITE SUPREMACY AND HATEFUL EVIL HAS ITS ROOTS.
