I love those "language barrier" episodes when Lisa screws Oliver up so bad he can't talk straight. The funny thing is, no matter the setting that it happens in, Oliver's the one that always ends up looking like an idiot! haha Thanks, DJ. That was a good laugh to come home to! :)
Yet she's dumber and less useful than a 50-pound bag of horse manure. Between her and the other denizens of Hooterville (at least on Green Acres), it's no wonder Oliver gets frustrated a lot (and understandably so).
Scenes like this could very well be titled "Gracie Allen meets Edgar Kennedy". For those who are not familiar with movie history, Gracie Allen was famous for her "illogical logic", and Edgar Kennedy was the master of the "slow burn".
I put my laptop in the fridge for 30 minutes. Ants get in the works. I am guessing this is why Lisa put the typewriter in her fridge. Here's a tip, don't eat honeyed toast close to your laptop or typewriter.
Maybe Mr. Arnold should call up the Executives at GSK and have them cook up something for that frustration Syndrome. I hear their restless leg formula is Fantastic. It's so good especially during the quarterly PnL payouts
It's sad they used canned laughter for these sitcoms during the 60s. The audience would have been rolling down the aisles in laughter. and the actors wouldn't have been able to stay on scrip. It's also too bad they cut up the bloopers, that in of itself could have been better than anything on the 10,000 channels we have now.

Lisa: That's what I said. Oliver: I don't care what you said!!!!!!!
It's the most insane TV show ever made
I watched every episode
No I'm going to get into The Beverly Hillbillies
Get smart a good one too
Well written scripts!!
One of my favorite shows of all time!
I fricken love Oliver so much. He’s my spirit animal. 😂
@Mo Ghrá Liam Neeson Or in Chinese. Oriver Drougras.
How that man kept his sanity I'll never know! 😀
What a great running gag. Nothing to read into. Something that happens to all of us from time to time. Just plain classic.
I thought Lisa was going to say she loaned Arnold the Typewriter.
Lisa's malaprops were one of the funniest aspects of the show. Hootersville was never the same.
Oliver's slow burns are classic
A tremper trantrum, temper tramsom, tremper trampsom... hilarious.
Dam I'm tongue tied now.
A tremper trantrum...temper transom...tremper trampsom...
😂😂😂😂
Lisa: I put that in the refrigerator. Oliver: What for?!
Lisa: "To keep it cold."
Oliver:(clearly upset) Lisa, you do the silliest...
Lisa's so adorable!
Oh my, YES❣❣❣
She was such a lovely, precious addition to their lil town 💝

So funny! 😂
Oh my gosh it’s Eva Gabor
Could you get the scene in the old trunk where they were doing dummies for Billious pills? They were so great together in that scene.
Does the Carl Funkwiler cake have anything to do with Carl Lefong..
Carl LaFong! Capital L, small a, capital F, small o, small n, small g. LaFong! Carl LaFong!

It's cheaper to write a hit show if you just have 2 characters say the same jokes repeatedly.
Yeah, I guess you're right about that. Do you not like Green Acres?
@@djhutcherson6761 I LOVE GREEN ACRES....I got a big kick out of the repeater device..
@@MarkH10 oh ok, me too 🙂
Hey DJ did you go to school??? i'm just curious.... Oliver has a temper transom ......... or did he have a ... Temper Tantrum ?????????? LMFAO
Eva Longoria or Eva Gabor?
Eva Gabor
A better comparison would be Sofia Vergara and Eva Gabor. I always felt that Sofia was the colombian modern day version of Eva.
