Excelent work. With the musescore's own "Export to youtube" being so bad (as you have no control of how the video is generated and have to wait until it is finished AND uploaded to see how it turned out) this is a marvelous solution. Thank you!
Thank you! I must admit, I didn't know about the UA-cam Export feature in MuseScore.com. Am I correct that it's only for Pro (paid) users? I've just tried it out, and I'm fairly impressed with the results, and you don't have to upload to youtube, it has the option to download a video file. Pity this isn't built into the musescore software itself.
@@mccoydtromb I couldn't find the right video to reply to you, so I am piggy backing on this. I have at last uploaded the theme and variations you kindly agreed to. ua-cam.com/video/PoP8XD2XYAY/v-deo.html
Useful video, but I encounter a difficulty in reducing the video area. The + makes the area to shift rather then get reduced. Any idea why? I use OBS v. 31.0.0 - Thanks
You must select the source first, so that the red border shows, then hold ALT while dragging one of the red handles. If you hold ALT while dragging on the frame then the area shifts like you experienced. I've struggled with the red handles, but the cursor turns into vertical or horizontal arrows when you hover over it. At least, on my Windows version, also 31.0.0.

Thank you for this. I used it and combined it with OpenShot video editor, and it all worked really well.
Glad to hear it! What did you use OpenShot for? Replacing the audio, or adding some extra details, perhaps?
@@mccoydtromb I remixed the audio after recording the video of the score.
@@TheFatPriest Makes sense to avoid any playback artifacts from musescore

I've started recording Guitar tabs and this is actually perfect
Glad to hear that! Got any videos we should watch?

Great video. How did you customize your background page? It's smooth
It's in Edit>Preferences, Appearance section, Paper. I chose paper3.
