Only reason I watched this video was I needed the dimensions of that base. The one that took seven cuts on a table saw and another day with no mail waiting for the glue to cure. For a second I thought you finished the mailbox and moved on to a butchers block. It's a nice post though thanks for the effort.
What would you do if you had to make three stands to where you could put three different mailboxes on here what would be the pattern you would choose for that project

Better off not using concrete, post usually rots where it meets the concrete cuz water sits on top and wont drain away from the post.
Crown the concrete. ...problem solved. It's not rocket science.
