The gold storage issue: gold storage gives things to grind for other than the base gameplay loop of “farm gear to then use that gear to farm more gear”. The problem is that the storage items worth grinding for are at the mercy of the market. Allow me to get a gold coin chest for 50k for instance, or I can trade 10 pelts for it etc. now suddenly I don’t have to track the market and fucking pray that someone is selling a chest (hint: they’re not) In fact I want more storage options. Give me a box for meds. Give me an herb box, a mining sack (made from the troll nut sack of course) give me a closet for head pieces etc
Simple fix for not being able to play your character after you reach demigod: tier 3 ranks locked so as soon as you reach the new colour you can’t fall below it, but can still lose AP in the interim ranks
I think I’m misunderstanding you but you want it to be like this Once you reach a rank you are locked in for those rewards but can’t still fall below that rank when trying to get other ranks ?
@@saiko1271basically, once you reach pathfinder, you can’t fall below the lowest rank in pathfinder, once you reach wayfarer, you can’t fall below the lowest rank in wayfarer etc, all the way up to demigod, so ppl who get demigod don’t have to worry about dying once and then having to re-farm to get it back

Would be good if the rank stayed, but the amount you fell for stayed as well. For example if you lost at the very start of Exemplar you still Exemplar, but have -400 AP to return to progressing further, that way you can feel absolutely free to play as a Demigod, because you will always be Demigod and have nowhere to progress anymore. Fixes the problem while not making punishment for losses any lighter.
The new healing system is the ultimate workaround to the old ranged / poke spam that has been prevalent most of EA. It disincentivizes staying a module away from your enemies and spamming arrows because as soon as I disengage I’m as good as full again. Massive W patch in all aspects despite the whole game being back on the wizard hate train.
Healing is great and keeps fights exciting and longer. Campfire is fine imo you have to sit down, players can hear the audio. Surg kits are op and need to be increased by 3-4 seconds on all raritys
I talked shit on endboss last episode, and to be honest I take it back. This episode he has some great takes, it doesn’t feel like he’s just arguing for the sake of arguing, and overall I thoroughly enjoyed his presence this time
hr ice caverns me and my duo have squads b lining to our spawn only clearing the path. then there’s no audio a foot away from me bc of a tiny ice pillar blocking all hearing until a arrow in my head. all together tho the game feels the best it ever has imo
I'd love it if Clerics got the Guiding Bolt spell. Similar to ice bolt in projectile speed but instead of slow it puts a debuff on the target that makes them illuminate and unable to stealth for a couple seconds.
No I like my traps they are balanced, we all can bring torches and we all can look at the floor and we all know if there is a ranger there is traps like it's a self inflicted death kind of But yea if you step in one it does such
Fighter needs another viable heal alternative to second wind im so tired of it, and I run a 2nd wind fighter! I think an inspire ability would be a great trade out for it, something that does a minor heal to yourself and buffs you and your teammates in some way, maybe multiple small buffs ex. 30 health and a 5% action speed increase for the team, or 25 health 2.5% act speed 2.5% move speed. Something along those lines that is viable enough to encourage people away from swift+2nd wind.
@@RealNotASpy yes but it's not very viable to run for pvp compared to 2nd wind the 20% physical bonus is great for an 18 second cooldown but only getting heal on a kill isn't reliable enough to justify swapping the 2, pairs very well together though! Sadly swiftness is almost a must have in the current move speed meta😔
Dungeonborne still has better balance than DaD with the life on hit issues. I prefer Dark and Darker but DB pvp and overall balance is way better even disregarding that it is a much newer game. Shouldn't be surprised that the guy that mains cleric and didn't think it was or is OP is delusional regarding game balance
How can you definitively say this? DaD is a game whos meta developed over a year. Top level play has been defined, and this info has spread across the general population. Dungeonborne hasnt been out long enough for the top level advanced play to be developed, forget about spread to the masses.
I understand being overwhelmed at launch and thinking "nobody knows what they are doing, the game is very fresh, i saw a bunch of youtubers say X build is broken, therefore this must be balanced" but that is incorrect. Life on hit was not just meta, you simply lost if you did not have it. Anyways, buff clerics!
For guys who main this game, you’d think you’d be more aware, half the game plays rogue, maybe try to get some useful information rather than people who hate rogues gasing up nerfs misleading people, like you didn’t mention rogues lost 3 base move speed. So the “buff” to double jump is actually half as helpful, regardless of double jump it’s still a huge nerf, you try to play off the dagger nerfs but don’t talk about how only the daggers rogues use got nerfed not the pdr abusing fighters using rondels or warlocks using kris, u guys have no clue what ur talking about when it comes to rogue and it shows 🤣 hey if you want less views keep it up
Appreciate the feedback James. And I think that's mostly a fair take. Rogue was such a glaring issue for so long (and there were so many abusing it) that we all probably have some PTSD from it. However, SBS has tons of Rogue experience, and historically been able to keep the rest of us relatively informed from a less biased perspective. The one thing I'm not sure about is the claim that half the game plays rogue. That 100% used to be the case, but I'm not sure that's accurate this wipe. If you have a link to the data on this I'd love to see it. I miss the days when IM shared the analytics.

I'm on board this train. If IM thinks this makes things to easy, I'd would certainly trade off for slightly more difficult AP gains.
