I feel you, this inflationary cycle is brutal, but some politicians love it cause they can collect more taxes. I had to let go of some equipment but held out for good offers. Buy once cry once but sometimes twice. It is prudent to let go of something underutilized. Psalm 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands.

That twinge is an un-welcome harbinger that affects every planned movement from that moment on. Trying to conserve power and avoid the big debilitating cramp for two weeks takes front stage. Most times, doubling my floor stretch routine two times a day can help if started early on, other times not so much. I've wondered if it's a design flaw to keep us humble?

I'll suggest that after "doing it wrong, ergonomically" (I might also speak from experience), you became a member of a "New Tribe", so to speak. Not discounting the remarkable Monkey Beaver gear evolution beyond the remarkable NT foundational design/support (I own a MB 1.0, and am planning to contact "Sam" about a 2.0, details TBD), but I will always remember from whence the inertia of back support design swings and the locus of comfort springs. Shouts out to Sophie, Vi, Casey, Barbara, Laurie, and so many others. ❤ Climb safe through this fleeting Tree Life.

Bro...... I know this woman that was giving her knee therapy but she was doing stretching exercises too hard.... so she went and thought for sure she needed to have knee surgery.... They told her to stop all stretching and all home therapy... All the pain went away and the knee healed up...
Too much of the wrong type of therapy is bad.....
And if you're doing the proper stretching exercises.... When you do go to use your back it will give you that wonderful feeling that is the same feeling when you do a nice stretch... Which feels good... The no pain no gain thing only applies to certain things.

Hi August, So this may be the wrong place to ask this but I have one of your monkey beaver 2.0 harnesses and I am having issues with the sides squeezing my hip bones and causing bruising. Is it a lack of padding or incorrect adjustment? Im 5’10” and 160 pounds. Just curious if you ever dealt with that issue before or is it something I will just have to build a tolerance to. The back support is really awesome though!

    • @AugustHunicke

I have a suggestion. Loosen the legs and make it ride higher up on the sides. All the other saddles I’ve worn I’ve had to keep the legs tight and then adjust the waist. It seems opposite with this saddle. I may be wrong, but I may be right. Try it.
