I watched it last night in Tauranga even and it was received like a spoon of butter. Visually amazing i mean their performance was incredible and funny too. It’s calling out and standing up to the racism initially brought here by James Cook. From what I understood of it it was mean as and speaks to the injustice of the pākehā system, ‘our place in it’, the day to day prejudices carried on the shoulders of brown people here tryna live, and the fight we’ve inherited from our tūpuna for our land back, our authority, and our self determination.
