The reason you were doing so much damage is probably because arrow damage calculations are based on arrow speed. The power enchantment i think multiplies this, which combined with the your horses initial movement speed could result in some crazy damage. Either this, or it’s an unintended bug caused by plugins which mess with the damage multipliers caused by speed.

Nah, it's because bows are meant to be nerfed to do less damage, but spectral arrows still do vanilla. Bows just usually do that much.

@@entitynumber2659 that on top of the bow critting when he shot normal arrows, the 8's on the guy he shot after he pointed it out weren't crits but the 12's were, bows just have random crit chance because why not right

The reason why power 3 is so op is because in 1.9+ pvp the more damage the hit deals the less armor matters especially without diamond pieces which means power 3 melts iron players.

i think also because momentum is a part of bow damage in newer versions so on a horse with more forward momentum u do more damage

you have to craft it vertically, shard on top then copper and copper. If you tried to craft it the way that the recipe book shows it doesnt work
