I feel like this is just me, but it really makes me angry when double jointed people call it a talent. Like contortionists have talent. I’m a slight contortionist (with my back), but I only call it a talent because I’ve practiced and can hold myself up with my legs over my head (similar to Sofie Dosée, but not nearly as good), but especially when just majorly double jointed go on fricking America’s Got Takent, and they get like 4 yeses when actual talented people don’t even make it to round 3!
I do contortion to I start doing things such as backbends in random situations
