I have never played magic! I'm a Hearthstone player and it was the first and only TGC I've played. I feel like I missed out on magic growing up because it sounds amazing :D

First prerelease I've been to after playing off and on since 2007 (mostly extremely casual). Got pretty bad cards both value wise and for sealed deck construction. But still had a blast. A friend got Liliana, and one guy got 2 sheoldreds. Overall definitely recommend the experience as long as you go in with your expectations set correctly.
So glad to hear you were able the go and had a great time!! ☺️ I think my stressing about going to more events myself is not well founded as I've generally found that most magic players I've encountered to be very friendly and helpful so I'm hoping to get the courage to go more often too 😁
