Thank you for sharing all your beautiful finishes and previous finishes enjoyed watching your video. Have a wonderful evening and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
This was so fun seeing all your pretty stitchy finishes. You did a great job.
Thank you so much! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing Kathleen. I just realized what a fast stitcher you are ! I admire your ability to completely finish your projects - Happy New Year 🎺 🐭
Thank you so much! I don’t feel fast, and I was surprised when I started rounding everything up to do the recap.
All of the things that you stitch are so lovely!
Thank you! 😊
Kathleen beautiful finishes. As usual I can't get through one of your videos without pausing and ordering 😮! Would you please give me your color conversion on Tea Break by Jardin Privie. Your colors are so good. You're very lucky to live within driving distance to so many great stitchey shops.
Thank you! I am so lucky to have so many shops within 45 minutes to two hours from home. Lots of fun day trips! Here’s my conversion for Tea Break: replace bronze greens (829, 831, 832) with teals 3810, 597, and 598. Replace yellow 677 with lime 472. Replace pinks (600, 150, and 602) with reds 321, 666, and 3801. I picked colors to match the bright accents in my kitchen.
Thanks Kathleen... appreciate. Love your colors
So many finishes in 2023! What counts did you say for your Matilda ornaments? Very cute over 1! And I LOVE that cat and mice sled kit. So adorable!
So many beautiful finishes! I still love the 'Stitching Mends the Soul' pattern that I won from your giveaway! I am about half way finished!
I loved stitching that one! I intended to use it for a smalls exchange, but it’s still sitting on my work desk. I love its happy colors. 🙂
And you reminded me that I need to do another giveaway!
Nice finishes!
Thank you so much!
I loved seeing all your finishes. Finishing is the last thing I do, so I have a stack needing finishing-someday. I especially liked the cat piece from Val's Stuff that you put on a journal. I found the pattern on Ebay, and was wondering if you could share what colors you used. I like what you did much better than what the chart shows. Thank you so much, and Happy New Year!
Thank you! I try to keep up with the finishing so it doesn’t become an overwhelming pile. I’m also often stitching with a particular spot in the house in mind, so I’m usually anxious to see them in the spot. For the Val’s Stuff pattern, I used Classic Colorworks Sassy Brass for the cat. For the words, I used WDW Evergreen, Cherub, and Aqua. Other than the floss for the cat, I just pulled colors that I liked from stash. If I remember correctly, I needed lighter colors for the words because my fabric was darker. It’s a fun, quick stitch!
Such great finishes, Kathleen! My favorites were the Little Dove Christmas sampler piece and Welcome Easter (love the colors!). I admire you for getting all of that stitching fully finished and up in your house. I'm terrible at finishing things. I just never do it. My FO pile is huge 😂. I just keep putting it off 😂. About the retreat in NJ in March...do you mean the one Jim at Needleworkers is putting on? I think it's in Piscataway, not Paramus. However, I'm not going for a couple of reasons. Are you coming back forStitch NJ in July? I hope so! Be eell!
