DOMINATING With ARCHER, is it that bad? - Combos and Tips (Project Smash)

The sad reason you don't see archers much because everyone calls them out for being "runners" when they're only trying to distance sometimes for ranged attacks people don't understand that..

i dont understand the "distance" themselves for ranged attacks since they dont need "distance" for ranged attacks to hit

@@ShadowAtomic-sl4fk well of course, the explosive arrow needs to have to have some sort of distance to use it. Since if you use it up close, they can attack and cancel the explosion. Of course the first move is able to be used more up close combo finisher but it can also be used for edge guards too

@@ShadowAtomic-sl4fk distance isn't also meaning like far far away, just some range in between for some moves to be more effective. Like the 3 mini arrows? Those can be used to close in easier on them or to stop a attack they're currently going to use.

Archer actually has a pretty decent skill ceiling with the tech it's capable of

Make the Normal attack Ranged and melee at the same time like Every 4 melee attack it will release 1 ranged

Another thing people assume is that bandit and archer are similar when the only thing they have in common are ranged moves.
Bandit is really heavy on punishing and a passive playstyle while Archer is more on knockback and rushdown.
Between the two I would say Bandit would be better, only because I find I can combo with Bandit way easier and get high damage results pretty cosistently.
(BIG Note though, Bandit doesn't have any true high damaging combos, so against a rogue it basically loses)
In general though archer is more flexible against the more common classes, so it's honestly up to choice.
For a beginner archer is def easier to learn but Bandit has (imo) a higher skill ceiling

Im a close range type of archer,basically i use 6 m1s then use both extender moves to basically dish out damage then end with a gale shot

Archers combat meelee (not abilitys) hitbox SUCKS. Like literally. I dont want the range longer just the HITBOX its crazy cause everyone always gets out of my meelee hitbox.

It's my first time playing it and I played for like 1 hour and I already got 34 kills with archer. I'm already good at pvp and aiming type games so it was pretty easy

Percent is basically how far you get knockback. Like Smash Bros

btw u can use gala bomb on wall when they tryna go back

​@@ahyin9567you can land gale bomb immediately after gale shot if they're at a low enough % and spike them if they get knocked off the stage. It's a great spike if they're at a lower % and you still get the opportunity to spike them again if they try to recover.
